It's been a very long time coming! I played it on ps3 for about a week before I gave up.

I bought it on the PS3 and loved it, I Sold the PS3 and bought a PS4 with no intention of playing any other game but GTA and I'm still genuinely excited for the PC version, I am one of those triple dippers Rockstar dreamed about!

double dipper here after playing it for the first time on PS4 but ill leave my PC purchase for a while i wait and see how it performs on similar specs

That's good, for some reason I thought it was going to later than that. Hoping it runs well on PC as I'm really looking forward to this game.

You don't want to be doing that with steam planning to region lock codes!

I got the game for PS3 and despite shockingly bad draw distance, framerate, resolution and load times it was amazing. I have no regrets paying £35 then and paying £35 again for the PC version in January - providing it runs.

And I stand corrected, GTA IV does seem to use all 4 of my CPU cores. I have no idea why it runs so bad.

Does anyone know if GTA V will support mods like GTA IV did? Cars, texture packs, skins etc etc?

If Rockstar has learn anything regarding PC gaming then it should. Then again they have a pretty sketchy PC port history so i'm cautiously optimistic.

I really hope they do, it was one of the best parts of playing the game! Being able to create your own world and fill it with your own mods made it so much better.

I've never done missions, I just download a 100% complete save game and like playing free roam. I don't know if that's just me.

Waiting for it to get cheaper before buying, it's currently at £30.

I always did that, I enjoyed roaming around far too much! And free mode in GTA IV online.

I did start the story on GTA V on PC and it was actually very good, so I will aim to complete it on PC

I do hope this game will be native at 3440x1440 from the get go! One of only two games I've bought for the now retired PS3 to play whilst waiting for the PC port. The story and 3 main characters were a breath of fresh air for me.

the poor frame rates were making me dizzy so I gave up!
