The pop in on the 360 version was horrific, even with the second disc installed to a usb drive but it didn't spoil it for me.

Said it before but I really can't wait to do it all again to 100% or near on pc.

There is a couple of great videos of people flying in the last gen games. Suddenly they would be wasted for seemingly no reason only for a tree to appear out of thin air a few seconds later.

What's the best pre-purchase deal for this at the mo guys? What with all the issues with the key sites and Steam now its a bit of a minefield.

Don't.

Buy it after reviews comes out so you know the port isn't a steaming pile of ****.

This, the embargo will be lifted the day before. Wait until reviews are out. Someone in this thread recently mentioned this and further gave great advice to watch TB's review when it's released as well all know he loves to pick games apart, specially on their graphical side.

I'm actually quite glad they are taking their time with it. I'd rather they pushed the release back and delayed to get it right, rather than release it completely broken.

As above though, I'm going to wait for the reviews before plunging. I can't justify forking out £30-40 for it again seeing as I already own it, no matter what bells and whistles and extra content they throw at it.

I think it's been proven multiple times they are not delaying to improve, it's a strategic delay to milk more pennies.
