Anyone know what my rights are on CJ's keys ? I demanded a refund, I payed for this:

''Grand Theft Auto V CD Key For Steam''

( got proof in mail).

And now all the sudden it's R* Social club **** and not steam... If I'm getting a R* Social club key I might just as well have bought it retail :(.

Am I entitled to a refund ? It's clearly faulty advertising.

Have the same issue so sent them a support message, this was the reply:

I can REQUEST a refund you, that's no problem, refunds are made in normal office hours Monday to Friday.

If your circumstances are such that a refund is permitted:

Requesting a refund of a PRE-ORDER KEY. - Refunds are processed following the release date. - You must write and request a refund AFTER the release date.

Please note that refunds to your Payment Card, Money Bookers or PayPal incurs a merchant services refund fee of £1. We cover this charge for you only if the failure to complete the order is our fault. - Store credit avoids this charge. - By requesting a refund to your payment account you are agreeing to cover the merchant services fee. (unless the fault for non-completion of the order is ours).

If you want to collect your order, when you have received the email letting you know your key is in stock,go to Autokey and collect.

If you haven't managed to complete the verification process then it is very simple.

You only need to show the name on your id, for example driving licence, id card, student card, passport etc. You can cover all sensitive info. You can scan, photograph or webcam your id. Send here in reply or to [email protected] with the subject title with the word: ID

Please let me know what you would like to do.

To speed response time for all of our customers, please only reply If your require further assistance. There Is no need for any reply if everything Is OK. :-)

Pretty poor TBH, as we haven't received anything yet I don't know why they wont issue a refund untill after release.

I'm doing the same, popping my pc into the car (micro atx build, easily transported and takes 5 seconds to unplug) and taking a trip to my mums and setup on her desk. She's got 150 meg fibre business line. I've got 25 meg fibre :(

Gives me a reason to have a chin wag with with the ol' dear I guess.

Seems a bit pointless and extreme to me. It's 65gb installed, it isn't a 65gb download otherwise the retail version would ship on 10 DVD's!

It'll take 2-3 hours on your connection and you can preload it anyway.

Just how important is the pre order bonus of ingsme cash going to be. Is there must have things needed from the start or is ingame items insainly overpriced that the bonus money is a must. Only things that worry me is online stuff because if its good and open gameplay where u can buy a house that's just urs and has a garage to keep ur fav car in then bonus money might be nice but how much are these things and how long does it take to earn the old fashioned ways. I mean I hope in mp I get reasonable cash from normal missions because I don't want to do missions like heists where u need others and you need to plan stuff to get a somewhat reasonable reward as I hate long missions in the GTA games and prefer the quick and easy ones which most were in past games.

It's really not necessary at all, in the single player missions become available to you where your actions will alter the share price of certain companies in game. In multiplayer it's also a non-issue as there's a lot of stuff that is locked by level before you can purchase it anyway.

Hmm, I'll be away when this is released and not back until May, so the first things I'm going to check are:

Has the game been released? Lol

What is everyone moaning about?

What do I need to upgrade?

What is the best way of purchasing? (with gta4 the retail hard copy ran fine whereas steam version gave me lots of problems).

Tbh I'm ok waiting til late autumn if need be, those dark nights stuck indoors need to be filled!

Well I've cancelled my order for the retail version (£33) and pre-ordered it on steam. I know it'll take an age to download for me but as long as it can be preloaded it's ok. I'm expecting it to be low settings all the way but I don't really mind. It gives me an excuse to play it again when I do upgrade.

I'm glad I ordered it through Steam. So much hassle and messing about just to save a few quid. Plus I have the rest of the GTA collection on Steam so it's nice to keep it all together.

Last day to get Pre-Order bonus I believe...

http://www.gamesdeal.com/grand-theft-auto-v-gta-5-pc.html

I have ordered already from GAME for £34 but I am watching this page to see it this can be activated on steam

Pre-order now! We will send the key to you at release date.

This game will be released on 2015-04-14.

Important information!
There is no solid information currently where the retail version of "GTA V" will be activated. The game may be activated either on Steam, on the websites of the publisher or on other platforms.
We will keep you updated about this issue

just get it on Steam, for the sake of a few quid, 2 pints, just so much less hastle to get it from there, have the option to pre-load and be playing it within minutes of it being released.

It will less than likely be able to be activated on Steam as unless it's a Steamworks game or they have a deal with the publisher it'll be Rockstar Club only keys unless bought through steam itself.

Just like GMG then.

Is steam releasing at the correct time, not dodgy "steam" time like a few recent releases.

Either way, I won't be on it on release night, work. Bugger

Opened a paypal dispute since they have not responded to my ticketyet ( they still have 2 hrs, but I doubt they'll respond within 12 hrs):
You have promised a STEAM serial key for the game, not a Rockstar Social Club key, you have misled me with the description, this is a different product then promised when I bought it. Waiting until after release is unacceptable.

CJS CD Keys has said this to other buyers:
''Requesting a refund of a PRE-ORDER KEY. - Refunds are processed following the release date. - You must write and request a refund AFTER the release date.''

This is unacceptable, I want my money to pay for the actual product I ordered, which is a STEAM CD key not a Rockstar social club, I demand an immediate refund. It is unacceptable the seller wants to hold on for my money for 2 weeks for no reason. I am not interested in the product ''GTA 5 Rockstar social club key'', and I never was, I was fooled into buying a mis-advertised product ( ''Grand Theft Auto V CD Key For Steam ''). The seller apparently DOES NOT HAVE the product I payed for.

See what they say now, if the CJ's keys tries to sell me off on the same reason I will escalate it with paypal and demand interest for holding on to my money for 2 weeks.

Perhaps I'm being a bit agressive, but mis-advertising products ****es me off.
