GTA4-yet another good looking Gfx mod!

Anyone prefer the new version of iCEnhancer against the old version?

I have tried the new one yet, wondering what peoples thoughts on it was before I upgrade to the new version.

Ok, so I install retail GTA IV, install v.1.0.4.0.

Then what is the tool which allows me to easily add mods and cars and stuff?

Also, in addition to the iCEnhancer 1.25, what is the best texture mod?

Thanks

I managed to get iCEnhancer 1.25 working, but my camera was shaking around like Niko was drunk all the time. It turns out this is something which happens to pirated copies of the game. I think this happened to me as I had to copy the contents from my retail disks and install from an external HDD as for some reason I was getting an error when installing from disk :(

I think I've found a work around though :)

I just need to know what the best full car pack and texture mod is, any ideas?

Better City Textures is a nice texture mod (weighs in at approx 4.5gb download, 7gb extracted)

As for cars, I've gone through places like GTA4-Mods.com, GTAinside.com, GTAGaming.com etc and downloaded them individually, trying to replace cars with ones that are fairly similar, and not all supercars. I don't want to see hundreds of Ferraris, Porsches, Zonda's etc all going down the street, so I've got a nice variety of some fairly boring cars (I've even got a VW Passat!)

Hmmm, that sounds time consuming, but worth it I suppose.

The above thing I mentioned broke my game. It's so annoying, I can't install from disc because it is slightly scratched I think. Yet I can copy the files onto my HDD and install from there fine, but it results in the game thinking it's a pirate copy I think :(

Just trying to get a bit of clarification here.

a) What works with EFLC? Can I have custom cars? Reality mod?
b) What, if anything, works with the Steam version?

The Steam version of vanilla GTA4 is 1.0.7.0, EFLC is 1.1.2.0

iCEnhancer 1.25 works with 1.0.7.0 (although works better with 1.0.4.0) and EFLC (1.1.2.0)

Cars and textures work with both - but you'll need to import them into both, as EFLC is a completely stand-alone game (so your GTA4+EFLC folders go from ~30gb to ~50gb in total!)

Not going well :(

I cannot edit the handling.dat file because it's all jargon when it opens. I've installed a custom car using SparkIV but when I run EFLC, it crashes when loading.
