Well, now that we know the 1070 prices. It has become perfectly clear that the Founders Edition was nothing but a price gouging move by Nvidia.

Jayz 2 cents video shows that number of pins have zero effect on overclocking ability on the pascal cards. no effect at all. Infact he got better clock speeds out of a FE than a 8+6 MSI gaming.

I'm in a situation where i have a whole new build and NEED a card. But i just cant justify the price for my savings. Even though the EVGA card @ £409 looks sexy!!

he mentioned about overclocking and the boost being affected and needing to go the custom bios route
