GTX 260 / 280 Overclocking Thread

710/1484/1250 (192)

After 725~ core, starts showing slight artifacts in some games. Can't believe these cards are stock 576 :D

Does anyone know of any aftermarket cooler or fan, i've had my GTX280 to 700/1275/1475 and i think it should be able to do 1300/1500 on the mem shaders, trouble is it's a noisy bugger as i run the fan at 80% since i don't want the card to overheat

I've since turned it down to 650/1200/1400, with a fan of 70% which is only slightly louder than my case fans so not instrusive, i don't think 70% will keep it cool enough at the higher clocks, so what kind of air cooling solutions are out there as i have not really seen any?

My shaders are unlinked.

Crysis is veryhigh, FarCry2 is 1680 1050, everything max, no AA

temps are mid 60s

i need a program which can test for gpu errors, i have ati tools but i want something else to test with as well just to put my mind at rest. currentlky running 700/1458/2420 with a bfg oc GTX 280

so how good is 771/1584/1282?

Tis good I know :p In fact comparing GPU-Z screenshots it's nearly as good as a GTX 285? Surely this can't be right

771/1584 is good... actually very good thats probably better combination than my Gigabyte SOC clocks http://aten-hosted.com/images/soc1.jpg tho to be fair I didn't test the core clock beyond that as it seemed to destabilise the shader clock if I increased it more.

Memory overclock is just above average - 1152-1200 is typical memory overclock for the GTX260. It'll give the stock GTX285 a good run at those clocks.

comparing GPU-Z screenshots my 260 is basically 285 performance. Apart from the 20gb/sec in mem performance. However I doubt anything over 120 or so GB/s does much with current games.

IIRC Crysis is the only thing thats really responded significantly to memory overclocks from when I've been testing.

Hi just got a gtx 260 216 and using win7 64bit i recently read about the dodgy drivers from nvidia can you tell which drivers are the best?

thank you <3
