Done a few rounds with 680 sli in at 1080p 120hz in BF3. All I can say is wow!
Everything maxxed and I average 95fps or there abouts.
Disabled SLI and it isnt the smoothest of plays 45-70 and jumps around a bit. Lock the vsync at 60 and it seems ok.
My machine is clearly bottlenecking these cards to a degree, but they do both hedge into 80% utilisation, but not very often.
Still very happy!! Lets hope they bed in nicely and I don't have any issues. Need to learn all about the drivers now...never had nvidia before

Hey man I was wondering could you do me a favour? When you're playing BF3 MP are both cards at >97% usage? Even when you turn down settings to high do you get greater FPS or does GPU usage go down? Is there any places where the cards drop to 65 or 70& usage in Multiplayer?
I only ask because I have 7970 in Xfire and the GPU usage problem in Mulitplayer is plaguing me!
If you can just check both their usages in Afterburner when your playin 64 player CQ! Thanks

Ah yeah there's no rush! Thanks for that. When I'm flying up high looking at the forest fire they usually stick to 99% but when I turn settings down it just drops to 85%. When I'm on the ground walking around is when they go between 70 + 95% Need to know to sell these to get 680's or if it's a BF3 problem.

GTX 680 runs well! I get 60 frames in BF3 ultra at 1080
. Hooked up 2 24" and 1 19" for work. The temps average around 43C in 2D mode and in 3D can go up to 80C but I didn't really keep an eye on it.

I fancy a EVGA 680 2GB F.T.W but i need to see the clockspeed, and a review on how they o/c!

Better cooler, better power regulation, hopefully better quality RAM and speed binned GPU chips. Add in some voltage control and it could be EPIC!
BUT if its just a better cooler and power regulation and the rest is std with no voltage control then it won't be worth the extra £100.
