**GTX 680 SHIPPING SCHEDULE THREAD - CHECK HERE IF BUYING FOR DELIVERY DATES!**

I spent over the odds on my 5870 (£300) and really I think when it comes to GPU's you have to be clever.

Look at the SB range of CPU's. for gaming the sweet spot is the 2500k.

For GPU's remeber that upgrade itch comes around within 2 years.... so why not buy a card that will have around 2 years life in it and then upgrade again.

I know its hard... Im having difficulties my self, but really I buying midrange and upgrading frequently is better than buy top range and upgrading infrequently.

Technology gets out dated fast. You spend £400 on a 680 and 6 months later Microsoft release DX12... you get my point.

One question, if 30 days go past since my initial order date surely that means i cant claim the 3 years warranty as i will need the serial of the card ?

Have asked customer service they say to just watch the product page for an update, will cancel if theres nothing by tomorrow. not even a hint of an arrival date atm

I received the same response but tbh, no point in cancelling as most places are still waiting on stock so I suppose we will have to wait !

We will be able to upgrade warranty 30 days from receiving date

nothing proves a receiving date was my point, they wont just take your word for it most likely lol - EVGA will most likely be understanding with the situation but they COULD be mean and say you purchased it (actually made the order) over 30 days ago, kthxbai.

Would be harsh though

Fair enough but how do you prove date of delivery? Couriers yes as someone signs for it theres a trail but say something that just went royal mail.

Dont worry about it mate you will have full warranty when it get`s delivered i had this when i ordered a evga card that i had to wait almost a month to get..

Royal mail 1st class you still get a code as with recorded mail and special deliver,no dought it will be sent by Courier so no need to worry :).
