Don't have to take it apart, download nvidiainspector and hover the part it says GDDR5, it'll tell you the manufacturer of the memory

I recently sold my GTX 480's as I was getting a bit fed up of the heat in my room. After an hour of BF3 it would get sort of unbearable and I'd have to open all the windows and doors
I put the extra cash together with the money I made on the sale and have bought a EVGA GTX 780 SC reference cooler model. Should get it early next week.
Does anyone here have one of these?
I have one.
Nice one, I'm sure there was a point to me asking.. Hmm lol
I'm hoping for a decent clocker, how did you get on with yours?
It runs +200 on the core and +300 on the mem. Boost is 1250Mhz with a decent fan profile set. But tbh I just run it at stock now as at 1080p it's more than enough for me.
What ASIC is you card cheers.
Am I the only person who hasn't OCd their 780? The thing is a beast I just haven't needed to.
It would most likely also add an extra 25% in fan noise as well..If you have a stock 780 it's a crime not to clock it as you easily get +25% real world performance extra.
