What did you manage on the memory?

+100 is the most ive passed any bench on so far. Initially tried +400 but it artifacted in heaven and reset the clocks.
Have you tried reducing the core clock to say 1200MHz, then push the memory up? I seem to remember doing this, and the memory clocking higher, and being stable. It was really weired to say the least...

Nvidia inspector, install it and hover your mouse cursor over the ram box, it will pop up showing what ram it is.
That's handy to know didn't know that. I guessed it was Samsung, but only because I bought it within an hour of showing up in the UK, review samples all had Samsung.

I'll probably revert back to original second BIOS and leave running at 1254 on stock volts. Just doesn't seem worth upping to 1.212 when it can only get me to 1280... was really hoping to see 1300, but oh well.

When I get another (maybe), I won't even run them that high. In tandem I would only try and hit 1200. But I am hesitant, as last time I had this kind of cooler in SLI (windforce), the top card suffered terribly from heat, getting it all from bottom card.

So far Nelly ive managed 100 core and 300 memory, 1189 and 3305 respectively. Will see about trying a touch more on the core.

I'd wager you'll manage a bit more then 1189, thats relatively low for a 780 (imo). Have you looked into the custom boost killing 1.21v high pl bioses? Well worth a look :)

Phantom glh's on todays xmas calendar too, £400, very good cards even if the new ones are elpida. My elpida card does 1306/6650 & my samsung glh does 1306/6800

Classifieds seem insane on the overclocking front.

Using the Skynet bios v3 ive had mine up to 1450Mhz @ 1.35V Core with slight to no artifacts during 3D mark runs. (Done on water obviously)

I run mine for gaming at 1300Mhz @ 1.2V and +600mhz on ram.
Pretty impressed to say the least.

Just to note, i couldnt get anywhere near that on air (acx cooling), 1280 was the limit before artifacting at 1.1v (Although i didnt use Modded Bios).

Seem to have now managed to get 1293, by upping the fan speed. Don't know why it didn't occur to me to try before!

Surprising how little noise this cooler makes. It's bearable up to 75%.

At that, keeps the card in low to mid 70's.

So very nearly made 1304, but did see the odd artefact after a while :(

But I noticed the voltage is only running around 1.15V under load. Guess thats vdroop.

Hurrah!

Managed to get 1306 :)

Just a pity you have to jump through hoops with specific versions of software, custom BIOSes, and software hacks for what should be supported directly, easily, by MSI themselves for something like lightning cards.

GPU boost is awful, I wish they'd just implement a simple tickbox in nvidia control panel to enable/disable it. You shouldn't have to faff about with BIOS flashing just to get the performance of the card stable.
