Future proofing for additional screens (currently on 1440p with a second 1920x1200 I need to replace).

I can imagine 3x1440P needing more than 4GB with full details, so good shout (if you intend on going for 3 that is)

Was really hoping for one with more than 3GB VRAM.

More than 3gb goes against what NVidia are trying to do with the 780ti. To make the card as fast as possible it is better to go with 3gb of vram, disable most of the compute part of the GK110 and beef up the power circuitry.

Yup anymore than 3gb is a waste to I'd say around 90% of their audience, 22nm will be proper 4k single cards.

I can go with that (not the BF4 part). Having gamed with 3 x 1080P screens for ages, I love it. I swapped out one of my screens for 1440P but thinking of giving the wife this screen and going back to triple 1080P, 120Hz screens. 1440P looks good but not quite what I was expecting.

The only point holding me back is the potential of G-Sync as nothing can pull you out of a game like a screen tear can.
