Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 (2023)

That was BRILLIANT! loved it. Fitting end. I did shed a tear I won't lie. I love this franchise. Best from the Marvel universe for me. Thank you! Might have to watch the first two again now haha.

End scene was perfect!

Whole soundtrack is amazing, that's a big part of what I love about these movies too :D
Indeed, though imo, volume 3 was the worst soundtrack out of them all.

Volume 1 in particular was played by so many people, with songs that when they arr played, people say "this is the guardians song". Creep although great, will jsut be known as the creep song.

Just rewatched the first and man, it's got to be the best one from the trilogy. Awesome!! I loved the third but this was great. Soundtrack spot on too. When Peter holds the power stone, the visuals are absolutely fantastic in 4k with all those colours.
Second one maybe, but maybe tomorrow as bit late now :D

Enjoyed the film and it was great seeing the gang back together again. None of the music clicked with me however (compared to the last 2 films), and although I did drift off slightly towards the end, I don't think they explained why Rocket was super-intelligent? I thought it had something to do with that ID/Location badge he was looking at but I'm not sure.

glad im not only one, nothing was said about how/why rockets intelligence came about, unless i missed it

Watched it again last night, soundtrack wasn't the best and i still can't get over how lame Star Lord going back for his iPod was :( Surely they could have made that a bit more heroic and justified for risking his life and almost dying?!

Buuuuuuuut, still an awesome movie - on par with the first and better than the 2nd.

I thought the whole point of Rocket's intelligence was that there wasn't a reason. That the High Evolutionary, despite thinking he was a god, wasn't in complete control of the outcome of his experiments. Even created life has that spark of the uncertain.

I think it's because his intelligence as a lower life form was beyond that of the High Evolutionary which is unacceptable. Only those deemed worthy of plantary colonization should have high IQ. Such as all those annoying kids

Hah yes I thought this was ridiculous too! Also he would've instantly died floating in space like that but hey... Movies lol

I’ve never been a fan of Marvel characters/films, but from the feedback on here and the reviews I thought why not. The first film kept me entertained, the second less so and as for the third, I turned it off just after Stallone showed his face.

He was in the first film too though? and he's barely in the 3rd one, the part you saw him at is all you see of him, barring a tiny bit at the end.. You should stick it out, it really is a good film. What's the problem with Stallone anyway? he's a legend :P

Villian was good and brilliantly acted. He was definitely the standout.
Rocket's story was decent.
Some of the scenes were moronic, some of the action was great.

Bad jokes/puns/humour, particularly from Mantis and Nebula - fell flat pretty much every time and was constant.
Starlord and Drax pretty funny in places.

Soundtrack was pretty lame for the most part and almost every scene felt like it just had to have another 80s/90s/whatever song squeezed in for 30 seconds. Got a bit grating, more so when the songs aren't that good. Overkill.

Adam Warlock was lame/underused/kinda pointless - much potential though as the actor is great. Turning another character in to a complete joke with mummy issues.

GOTG1: 9/10, GOTG2: 7/10, GOTG3: 6/10.

The spark wasn't there this time.
