I do have my google account linked yeah, my purchased movies also show up in my YouTube account which is a nice touch, can watch them on any device I liked then.

Question for anybody that knows as I'm new to digital redemption.
I have The Amazing SpiderMan 1 on 4K Disc which came with a digital copy.
I went to the Sony website on my Android phone and typed in the code - Which then gave me the option to only redeem on Google Play, which I did.
I now have the movie in my Google Play Movies & YouTube account, however only at 1080p
When I sign in with another Google account I have, I can see that the movie is available for purchase in 4K, but on my Google account I used to redeem, it is not in 4K
Should I have done something different?

UK code? Pretty sure all UK codes only redeem HD. Google play movies that I own show the 4k version as available to me irrespective of the resolution of my device.
These have only become available using a 4K code through the US MA redemption system.

The only way I managed to get a UK 4k code to transfer was after I connected my UV account to MA codes I entered after that appeared as 4K, specifically WB titles.

I'm not sure if this is still the case, if you redeem a UK code and it's HD iTunes won't upgrade it, the only time iTunes upgrade a movie is if its purchased through iTunes.
I see you've requested a MA account, once you have this add your Google play account and iTunes account (has to be a US account I believe) and see if any titles appear. This will also give you access to MA codes. I use an app on my phone called Mewe and joined these two groups for MA and iTunes codes
I use my UK PayPal to purchase codes this way and as yet after having purchased a bucket load of codes have yet to be scammed.

Are you buying the discs or just buying the codes?
Also for MA to work you need a US iTunes account.
Buying the discs, brand new from the high street.
Connected my Google account an hour ago and no movies have shown up yet.

I got a feeling that they won't as they need the MA flag which doesn't exist in the UK and I believe the vast majority of codes are region specific so simply won't work with this method.
Again it used to work with UV, an old UV collection would transfer from the UK in to MA and from there filter in to iTunes / Vudu and fandango.
I believe the only way you will get 4k streaming versions of your movies is to set up a US iTunes account along with your MA account and just buy US codes or alternatively in the UK buy the 4k version from iTunes / Google play.
On the flip side I monitored the bandwidth streaming Infinity war 4k through MA on my Apple TV 4k and my router reported 60Mbps....
Hello Gents. Been using Vudu from my Xbox...sorry slight tangent on hardware. Have all the providers linked including MA and purchasing direct from Vudu using a PayPal with linked UK bank account for a few years. Today ti tried to buy and it keeps asking to add a payment method even though PayPal has been fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
