Guild Wars 2

Well of course it's possible, question is is it allowed?

I'm going to bet you'll get the SAME answer you did in GW1.

Which is basically yes you can run a macro... But make sure it's not an all-singing, dancing, killing, picking up everything in a 5 mile radius macro.

Automating 1+2+3 is a LOT different to programming a sequence where you approach a foe, launch 15 combo's and then pick up loot, and randomly seek the next foe.

The former is allowed, the latter will probably get you a ban.

Macro's should require a living human to use them. They should not play the game automatically for you.

Indeed. As long as they simply enhance gameplay, or make it a bit more efficient there's usually no problem. It's, as you say, once it starts automating the gameplay so to speak that it becomes a no-no.

Still, to be safe, I would probably wait for an official response (or ask about it on their twitter/beta forums when they come online) before going too deep into it.

This is hopefully what I'll be doing, trying to link skills together.

Nothing like the latter.

I was in The Immortals for the beginning of Star Wars, was a nice guild would recommend!

Shame the game put me off before I even hit level cap though. :(

Tempted to try Ranger this weekend, but was wondering how does the water pets work? (shark and such), is there cases where we can use them or can we use them all the time?

Maybe my google skills are failing me but can't find any info on it
