honestly RvR has lagged like hell for me(isn't fps lag 
), reminds me of AV in Vanilla wow sometimes, but there needs tobe a faster way to get back into fights, can't see any waypoint icons? 
either way have just ordered from GMG, may look at that Ocuk friendly guild too

It stops the camera auto following you when you move, allowing you to freelook around while running by holding the left mouse button.

Yeah the way points are a pain in the ass, I think when a guild captures a fort, they can then upgrade it and have a way point. ..tho not sure.
Haven't played any of the previous betas but I swear the game has a memory leak or something, I logged out in an area where I was experiencing 'slowdown' then when I relogged in the game ran flawless at the location, went and done a story mission and ran back to see if I still got slowdown and I did 
Its the only thing stopping me from pre-ordering is these random slowdowns
Its weird as well because I can have like 30 people on the screen doing a dynamic event or whatever and get no FPS hit [or at least the game is smooth] yet I can just be doing random quests out in the field and get fps hits.

I have none of these issue, only problem I have which was a lot worse than I thought was they closed the server, so we had over 20 players from the guild who could not get onto our server .
But the game ran very very well for me, no lag, no memory leak, think we could end up seeing a decent launch ...bey I just put the kibosh on that now

i7 2600K, SSD, eVGA GTX 570, 16gb RAM (tho game is on WD VelociRaptor)
Oh right, Im on an i5 3570k, nvidia 560 and 8gb ram.. like I say its just annoying how it can run flawless then i get random slowdown
I heard people are fixing fps slowdowns on nvidia cards by going into nvidia control panel and changing:
3D settings -> Adjust image settings with preview - Changing the slider to balanced (the middle notch) and turning off 'Let the 3D application decide'.
3D settings -> Manage 3D settings -> Anti-aliasing mode - Change this to 'Application controlled'
Also apparently the current nvidia drivers have an issue effecting GW2 so go here http://www.geforce.com/drivers/beta-legacy and get the latest 304.79 drivers and do a clean install of them by clicking advanced install options during install and checking 'clean install' box. Hope it helps!
Well I've played both the new races & like them both.
Mesmer Asura & an Engineer Sylvari. Both good fun.
Performance is good on my system, but I'm loathe to change to the latest drivers as they don't run very well with another game that's in private technical test
Hope to play more later. Desolation server sure seems busy

I was confident about being an Elementalist since last BWE, but now I'm not so sure. I haven't had a chance to play an Ele since then but I'm doubting based on the elementalist lack of damage/survivability - although if that's changed then it might come back on top.
Played an Asura Engineer which was fun, probably would remain an alt, mind you, as I prefer to play humans.
Played a Human Necromancer and it's very fun! Very good damage, variety of abilities, survivability and hell, the Lich is just damn awesome.
It's a shame that the Guardian seems a little weak on average as that was the class I was intending to play pre-BWEs. Warrior seems okay, but nothing special.

Ranger and Thief don't really interest me at this point. So far it's looking like

I crumbled like a cheap cookie, preordered and I am now downloading beta client. Smashed my overdraft and will get shafted by the bank manager for it (and the missus after knocking tonights night out on the head to try beta) but it will all be worth it

Thanks for this, I'll try the beta drivers soon, I just changed them options now and will see how it performs, or shall I change them settings on the beta drivers to?
I found ele fun last night in PvP, didn't seem that squishy to me
