i tried a charr ranger this time! really love the combat in gw2, being able to move and attack is great! pet was a bit weak though but im sure theres some management to keep that going!

the char story seems good too! so im either going warrior with a ranged weapon, or ranger with something for melee too!

as a performance note, in a really busy dynamic event i was getting 48ish fps with crossfire 6950's soo 10 minutes from the end i disabled crossfire and the framerate stayed above 60, hope amd can sort this out

Massive increase in performance. On 1080p I had some options set to high! This is on a phenom 550 @3.6 and hd 5670 too

Did a few tests with performance. At 1080p with everything max, didn't see above 30% cpu usage and 35% gpu usage so still some work to be done.

Lots of graphical glitches in the Asura area though, terrain and npc's just vanish from sight all the time.

there was some terrain issues in the human starting area aswell.

wow im even more excited about this game now,cant believe how fluid,gourgeous it looked. bring on the 25th

Whats really great is all the positive comments, so used to seeing with every MMO as many attacks on the game as positive posts, and in GW2 just seems everyone happy and only scales up how happy.

well first play of gw2 today in this 1 hour stress test what can i say im very pleased i have purchased the game its brilliant the visuals are lovely,love the free form style of the game how you get pulled into doing other quests that get plonked infront of you from nowere with big groups,everything is incredibly slick espically on the character making screen cant believe how polished it is.

very happy can see me sinking a lot of time into this game!!!

tried the necro quite enjoyed it will have to try some other professions too though i think to get the feel.

They were giving out beta keys for the final beta event. They said on Twitter that these keys did not work for the Stress tests however I was able to get into the first 2 but this was the first one I was unable to get into.

Ahh well, not long now 'til release.

Well that was crap. Went into the Test just wanting nail down the weaponset I wanted to play with.. And now I have the dilemma of if I want to play a Guardian or Elementalist.

I spent the entire hour in WvW on my mesmer. Loving it! Can't wait for release.

Still deciding if I will upgrade my card for release or not... I have a 285 GTX but to be honest it seems to be coping pretty well. I have most things turned up to "High" and I play in 1920x1200 - Didn't actually look at what FPS I was getting but it felt perfectly playable.

Computer doesn't make much difference at the mo. Mine is in my signature and performance is far from what I would call 'great'. It's not game breaking but utilisation is very, very low.

Get better frame rates in BF3 in surround that I do GW2 single monitor (SLI disabled).

Just press B its the simplest and fastest way.

Nope ran fine for no me issue at all.

Nope didn't have any problems was smooth saw a little glitch with some bushes/grass once but that's all ran nicely on high settings with good fps from what I noticed.

Decided on a class finally. Engineer was too much fun, and though I'm definitely making an elementalist ult. Also ended up picking a lot of choices like race and bio stuff. Asura statics college guy had real fun storyline for me.

I was having good frames on a 448 edition ti and a 955 phenom all on max.
Really low utilization though. Only about 40% on both.

Mine started doing that in BWe3, its was caused by the video driver restarting. I had to reduce my overclock slightly and also increase my fan profile

Gandara is on my list of 3 possible servers at launch, the other 2 being boreal station and seafarers rest (ahoy m8y, arrrr etc etc)

I noticed lots of terrain popping in and out during the last few stress tests too, which is weird because in the bwe it hardly ever seemed to happen (i have gtx 460)

i hope they fix it for launch, apart from that im really happy with it and cannot wait to play on the 25th
