Guild Wars 2

How do the dynamic quest events etc change up as the game progresses? Do they stay fresh or become repetative? Obviously there will be some overlay of similar objectives but ive only seen 2 starter arwas and was wondering what you guys have expericanced with this?

Thanks

Really that could be a good idea may keep tht on the back burner. I may just say that we are already in the house and organise a date over the weekend we move in? Not sure about the people living in the area. Will check it out first =p nothing stops them from changing the password 5mins after handing the money over.

haha i'm pretty sure they wouldn't do that lol they are neighbours it's not like you don't know where they are :P

We haven't really seen enough content to comment on this. The highest level zone available was Gendarran Fields (25 - 35) -- I managed to 100% it and I wouldn't really say it was much different from the 15-25 zones.

25-35 is still pretty early though.

From what I've read and understand early on in the game the quests revolve around "issues" within the area, ie centaur attacks, pirates and general stuff just happening but as you get further in the whole thing switches to a battle vs the forces of zytan and his undead army.

good info ooooh

I must say, Guru is a real weird place. Some people take Arena Net philosophy way too far, rejecting even optional grind and showing utter intolerance for those that enjoy working towards hard to get things.

bhaav will probably be leading them, his own personal band of fanatics. Expect attacks on blizz hq anytime now :p

On a serious note, from what I have heard, wasn't gw1 a massive grindfest to get rarer titles/gear/random bits of fluff?

I just relised that I will be off for a week on Annual Leave when this is released. The only problem is that I am moving into my new house so may not have internet :|

Similar here ;< moving on 20th August, won't even have a phone line til 10th September (earliest BT told me they can do appointment for). Hoping net is connected by 11th or 12th at latest, qq!

Yep and GW2 will have just as many grind worthy things as well, legendary items won't be a piece of cake to obtain that's for sure.

I blame Gabe N.

Before Dota 2 and TF2 I would've laughed off the suggestion of cosmetics...but goddamnit I'm hooked.

So, yeah, I'll grind ye legendaries.

That is a ridiculous lead time from BT. No wonder they are losing customers. Such a poor service.

Some of the titles had hilariously obnoxious grinds. The GW2 grinds will probably be things like dungeon tokens and whatever is incorporated into the achievement system - e.g. complete all jumping puzzles etc.

Have you looked into a cheap mobile broadband dongle? I'm not sure how much bandwidth GW2 uses but it will probably work fine in off peek hours.
