Not sure whether to grind Orr for stuff, do Frostgorge then onward with 100% or sort my profs.
That it start an alt
If you are not sure what to do, I suggest try and 100% cursed shore, as you get 2 high level exotics for doing the 100%, and if you get lucky it'll be the weapons you use. You get to experience a lot of events going for 100% too as all of Orr focuses a lot more on events than other parts of the world which have heart quests and fewer events.

Sent an application to join. Used to be in plenty clans in my CS days but everyone that I used to play with don't come online anymore. Getting bored of playing games on my own too, gonna delete pretty much my whole friends list on steam and start again. I'll see about adding people from here.

I don't really think there is a good way
The way I can think of is by levelling profs and getting mats to sell expensive items, but the item that makes money will generally be the one you want so you won't want to sell
Only othe way is grinding Orr again and again and selling mats, there was a random guild gold farming in Orr when I was there last night and I just followed them for a bit and farmed mats. Still needs to sell stuff but probably 50s for about 15-30mibs work.

Well I have to gloat about it somewhere and as my Guild is about as active as a wooden rocking horse I'll do it here.
I crafted (forged) my first two mystic weapons today.
The Mystic Crescent Shortbow and a Mystic Battleaxe Both look great (and have even better stats than other exotics as far as I can tell).
Manged to get the skill points and money together after a few days on a murderous rampage in WvWvW, something like 1,200 kills so far. I've only started playing in earnest recently.
Gandara have been owning the Eternal Battlegrounds recently too, knocking back the French for once. Seems we have finally got some organisation together and the policy of ANet changing the server choice swap times has evened things out a little.
It's great fun apart from the masses of unbelievably annoying cookie-cutter thief and mesmers in there. Seriously OP thiefs and magiacally diappearing into thin air characters who materialise absolutely miles from where you were handing their bottom on a plate to them. Infuriating, pointless and broken if you ask me.
Anyways, I've got two new weapons and I'm well chuffed!

Congrats on the exotics.
Stats are the same however, just fancy skins. But they area fairly cheap, good looking exotics.
I've got the Mystic Crescent on my Ranger, and I made the Mystic Rifle for my Warrior, but the skin is horrible, so I transmuted the exotic stats over to the super nice Ebonhawke Rifle
Saving up some golds now for the Corrupted weapons. Can't decide if I should get the Greatsword or Sword+Shield for a change of scenery.
However, 3 more runs of CoE and I've finished off my warriors armour set. Currently sporting the following:
Can't wait to get rid of those garish skulls!
I'm on Gandara as well BTW, so I might see you around the WvW battlefields

Nice one. I'm on tonight so maybe see you there! I meant Battleaxe for my second wep. I run a crit beast Ranger in WvWvW. Main wep is the bow with warhorn and battleaxe second set. QZ with crossfire + condition damage absolutely tears through most in WvWvW. Only downside is I'm a little fragile. I need to be quick on my toes to stay far enough away from the heavy hitters or I get smashed! I love hitting unsuspecting players with a machine gun of fire and watch them poop themselves as their bar plummets. Usually they're all over me then they just kite which is even better as you know, more dmage from flanking and rear attacks with shortbow. Oh yes.
I might post a picture when I get home. Haven't done that yet.
P.S. I'm almost certain the Mystic Battleaxe has a higher damage rating than the last exotic axe I was using. Oh well regardless, I'll be loving the new one later when I'm on!

Yes while Ruin guild has helped a lot in wvw, even last round with them we still lost to VS the reason we winning now is the lack of Orb's, VS no longer get the 15% buff, with or without Ruin we would be winning, specially as Ruin guild has not being that active this week, for what ever reason, and yes I spend a lot of time in WvW either on my commander (Seven Signs) or on one of my alts as one of the zerg .
Now that VS cannot hack and get all 3 Orbs, they pretty crap, logged in on Seven 2 morning ago, map was green and red, with in a hour or so of leading the zerg we had everything but AH, which were attacking when I had to log.

It's fun to see Vizunah failing
I just completed the whole Lyassa (or whatever) temple chain in Malcadors Leap (the Orr zone) omfg who needs raids when you have that level of quality in the world. Lasted about 2 hours before eventually winning and we won stages, lost some before fighting Ba k, absolutely outstanding!

The karma chains in Orr when they are working are very good. The dynamicness (if that's even a word!) just makes them so entertaining. Great fun
Can't wait to get finished with CoE so I can get back on with WvW and other PvE, only 3 more runs to go >.<

Is it this weekend the big event/new content? if so, what level do you have to be in order to participate? i am currently level 40.

Looks like we will get someone else this week, Arborstone have dropped to 4th in the table and Blacktide have overtaken them, so as it stands at the moment, and barring a late charge by Arborstone this evening/tomorrow...next week will be Desolation v Vizunah Square v Blacktide.
Next weekend for the new stuff, starts on the Friday 16th in Lions Arch
