Still Viz though! Maybe Desolation & Blacktide should tie up and just attack Viz, rumour the French do it to us :)

I've boon out of the loop about this kind of thing - what was the hack in WvW?
 
Anyone else notice a lot of bot users in-game? I've reported 5 groups of 5-6 of them (almost always bow users) running set paths constantly, not responding to anyone etc.

I have managed to wipe one of them using champion mobs so far but as I'm not on much I do find the shear number of these groups surprising!

Also am I missing it or is there no way to report them as a "bot/spam" option in-game?

Target one of them, right click on their portrait to report, the drop down has a 'bot' option. Job done.

I've seen quite a few of these groups, nearly always bow rangers, as you say. They're not exactly subtle, running very short set paths.
 
Two-factor authentication

I hadn't seen any announcement of this, as I don't bother with the GW2 forums, but a mate mentioned it in passing.

They've added support for two-factor authentication on your GW2 account

I now have the (free) Google Authenticator on my iPhone and have used it to secure both my GW2 account and my GMail account (you can set up application specific passwords, so Thunderbird and my iPhone can still collect mail without needing a code).

It currrently asks for a code whenever you fire up GW2.

Quite why they didn't mail every GW2 user, I don't know!
 
Happy days! Finished up my last two runs of CoE last night with an excellent PUG, we ended up doing all 3 paths and it went like a dream. Having good players on your team makes soooo much difference.

Plus to make it even better I got two Charged Core drops (~90s a piece) and a Charged Lodestone (2.5g a pop!) drop for me on the last run :D

So that can go towards that Corrupted Avenger I've got my eye on ^_^
 
Ive hit lvl 80 with a couple of charactors now. I want to find out what armours look the best, is there any site that shows all the armours including the normal crafted ones for charr?
Im farming globs of ecto and its costly, but im trying to get enough to make berserker emblazoned armour. I have no idea what that will look like either, but its got good stats.

this and www.gw2db.com , just click the pictures on www.gw2armor.com and most have a code you can paste in chat (or send yourself a whisper) like:

which you can then right click and preview on your character, you can also get the codes for dyes from here:

I'm just trying to do the Lyssa event Malchors and it's really irritating as people are just farming the lodestones from the north point and refuse to do anything else :rolleyes:

Few of us were completing that part of the event but then the farmers are just standing round until the next stage fails and it sets back. They then just contine :rolleyes:

Irritating to say the least!
 
Or... you could go to PvP and go to the PvP locker and try on any armour in the game on your own character with your own dye jobs.

Finished up my armour set the other day:

Also made myself a Mystic Barricade and a Mystic Cudgel (as a change from GS all the time), and transmuted my exotic Greatsword to a Jotun GS skin (has glowy blue runes on it and a mist/icy effect) until I get the 40g saved up for a Corrupted Avenger ^_^

I had some issues whilst playing gw2 this morning having my breakfast. i kept getting disconnected every 2min. my internet was fine and was able to browse the net. Are they having server issues this morning?
 
If anyone wants a referal send me an e-mail in trust, I'm away on holiday later this week so don't leave it until the last minute. remember you've got a big client to download too :)
