This only affects the cash shop though right? I have a CJS key and could play the game on a Euro server. If it's only the cash shop thats affected then it's only Arenanet that is losing out? If I can't put an address to buy cash items, then they are losing money!

I said the exact same thing to Gaile. Really how hard is it for them to just migrate our codes to an EU billing department? Then we can give them MORE cash! It's so convoluted and quite a headache. I have a soured impression of both companies involved here for their general unhelpfulness.
So funny. "Sorry we don't like this part... [note: I AM NOT JUST A WOW PLAYER...]"If its not on their list, they might consider the key unauthorized so be careful.Hmm what's the score with green man gaming, they're not listed as retailers/distributors either?
I got a full refund from them now and they have stated they will be taking Arenanet to court for defamation.
It is heating up now!
I guess that's where we differ: I'd honestly rather pay £9 more p/m than have instanced content and the feeling that the game is cheaping out on infrastructure and support. I guess some people are willing to pay for the intangible benefits. Plus you can bet that ANet are going to make a killing with the micro-store - giving up a subscription model isn't some modest altruistic way of conceding any of their profit margins. It's still going to be obscene. They could basically spare the time and effort to transfer a few bloody accounts from one database to another.
Dont tell me you got to keep your store credit aswell!!
