Most people go through a few professions before finding the one they love, most find it's one of the ones they least expected. :)

For me I was convinced I would end up an elementalist however after playing various classes all weekend thief is what has really stuck.
 
Some virtually no edited, no music, bad gameplay, no shattering (cos I suck) Mesmer PVP footage. The build at the start is the same in every one. There is a reason for this so go ahead and skip it.

Yup i went through these classes and said they would be my main in this order.

Thief (decided this before the game came out, tried it and didn't like it at all)
Necromancer (liked this a lot, but felt the nerfs and changes)
Ranger (still like it, although i feel pets in this game are pretty much useless)
Engineer (although didn't like it much then, so quickly stopped playing it)
Elementalist (it's a fun class but requires to much changing elements for my liking)

It was then between Ranger/Engi and i felt the Engineer had more to offer especially in pvp due to the Elixir's and i felt i had more of a team presence.

I did try the Mesmer, Warrior and Guardian but did not like them at all.

Anyone else having problems getting into WvW?

Its always full and I'm just continually in a queue :confused: bit poor if thats going to be the case all the time!
 
Sylvari Warrior will be my main and I'm lovin' it. I'll be popping my application to the immortals between now and release.........
 
How do you level up when you've done all the hearts? I'm level 12 and have 1 level 15 heart left in Queensvale or w/e its called and my story mission has level 15 requirement
 
Stumped what to play really since I always played a druid healer in WOW so I was very diverse, tried Mesmar and didnt really like it.

Bit annoying that its not very customisable. Will addons allowed to be created and create our own UIs?

Having things like target of target would be nice

I'm trying to decide whether to play a warrior or engineer. Will probably go Asura. :)

I'm not playing this weekend (I've logged in to have a look) because I don't wanna spoil it. Starting to get excited again for release.
 
Loving the mesmer too,for me its toss between ranger and mesmer as my first character,
one thing bugs me is why do i have to wear a butt ugly mask as mesmer......:confused:
