Guild Wars 2

Still utterly confused as to what I'll start with for a main - toss up between ranger, ele or warrior. The AI, or usefullness of pets is my only doubt for the ranger profession. Warrior feels too OP, so I'm half expecting it to get nerfed at some point. Got to grips a bit better with the ele tonight - found the profession a bit squishy on my last play.

I did the same a few days ago. Filled out the join us page, but still no response. Dunno what is happening;p

As far as tonight goes it was fantastic wvwvw. Large scale battles trying to secure a bridge and a control point between. Nice to see all 3 server factions fighting over the same territory.

As for my main well I reckon it will be Ele. It is either that or Necro, with my alt being a Mes.

I wouldnt worry, you will get in just submit again if you didn't get a response last time.

So far ive only really devoted time to Necro so cant really comment on the other classes, but so far absolutely love it. The summons take the majority of the damage while you lay back and gradually decimate the other forces with your wells etc. Feels great!

heard warriors good and from the 10 mins i played it seemed fun.

Sad thing being i wanted to be an asuran necro as it seemed to fit into there sort of ethos but found them incredibly annoying when i finally got round to trying them tonight. So although Norn Necro goes agaisnt the mold if feels like the best fit for me.

Think the Norn necro will be my main, then Charr warrior, Human Elementalist, Sylvari ranger/mesmer (havnt quite decided yet).

Ive still not got the hang of moving out of the way of danger as melee.

I briefly tried a human theif last night and thought I try to avoid dying on the start part where you fight the huge elemental rock thing. I tried to look for some sign of when to jump back out of the way but didnt see anything and ended up on my backside again ... doh

Bit of a dilemma here chaps.

Regular version, hardcopy, is £35 from another etailer.
Digital deluxe version, £65.

Sister wants me to buy her the digital deluxe version, but I can't justify paying almost double for some ingame stupid items. Am I being unfair here lol

Are they worth it?

You can get this from the blue and white supermarket online entertainment section for £29.99 inc release delivery using code G4FCWFGQW

Really enjoyed yesterday! Coming to grips with my main more (Norn - Warrior) Also Managed to purchase some gems for release which will come in handy for character slots from the start.

Performance was decent averaging between 80-100fps with i5 2500k @ 4.2 - Radeon 7950 - On high settings, although turned shadows down to medium as it nailed fps. Had a few dips but never appeared to go below 60fps which I'm happy with.

Wish they would open the game up sooner, the wait is killing me. :p

Aye agree there Pac3y, 25th august seems like an eternity away.

Spent 2 or so hours lastnight in WvW for the first time with a few friends, had way more fun than I expected, also gained a few levels, so finished the night at level 32 on my guardian :)
