Guild Wars 2

Definitely going to be playing a human warrior as my main, maybe an Asuran thief as an alt? What were the thieves like? Didn't get a chance to play it during the BWE's

I tried a necro, and it wasn't quite my thing. They lack some burst damage but make it up by just overwhelming enemies with conditions, and removing conditions from yourself/allies. They also have higher health of all the casters, and if built right and using death shroud they can even be made tanky and hard to kill.

I just wasn't a fan of the pets and lack of some burst, but it's still a great class and is very useful as part of a group.

Was pretty much set of Thief, then got a bit frustrated on how tricky melee is to play below a certain framerate in GW. Started eyeing up a Ranger, which looked awesome and the best of both worlds in terms of melee/ranged. Watched a video of a Guardian smashing around with a 2H Mace last night, followed by a Mesmer .... and now I'm back to square one again!

Too many awesome professions!

I have that problem, but I suffer from a severe case of class envy syndrome. That said, I like to be hard to kill and I think a guardian might suit me there...

You can amuse yourself no end in WvW on a Thief even at pretty shoddy FPS. Use shadowstep. When it's off cooldown look for the guy below 50% hp in their zerg, shadow step into the middle of them all, take him down, finish him and do the return shadowstep before anyone even realises what's happened :D

Pfft, warrior for me.

I always start any game of this type with a warrior. Asura make cute ones too - especially ickle girly Asura with blond pigtails :D

I thought there'd be more love for Engineers and Necromancers :p

Both viewed as Under powered, not sure why as they very good for what they do, Condition necros hurt, and I'm sure its the same with engineers!

But people like the the toon of the moment!
