Guild Wars 2

Who has reached max level? the most i have seen here is level 55 and that is someone who has put in 30+hours so far in this game.

Level 80.
Level 77

May i ask what is special about end game content?

Just doing what you like and not worrying about leveling for me :P I just enjoy exploring/crafting/making gold and getting better gear, depends for different people though.

Read through several replies that all said they'd soloed it pretty much and a few said they'd died a few times.

If you're underleveled because you'e not actually playing the game but trying to play it like another MMO ofcourse you're going to fail.

Sorry m8, an earlier post of mine explained more. I'm level 22, in mostly green gear. Getting scaled down to level 11 for a particular story quest 'Rumors of Trouble'. Many people are posting similar examples. But thanks for the informative reply.

Race: Norn
Prof: Mesmer
Level: 14 (Recommended 11)
Diff: HARD

Our side: Me plus 4 NPCs that last 10 secs tops
Them: 1 wave of 8-10 ice non-kiteable ice harpies that stack an AoE ice shard for 400 damage EACH, then a wave of 6 ice elementals (for you to solo) followed finally by a wave of 5 ice harpies, one of which is elite (also for you to solo). Oh and did I mention if you die you can't start from checkpoint nor can you revive any NPCs without instant aggro?

Race: Norn
Prof: Ranger
Level: 19 (recommended - 11)
Difficulty: HARD

I'm stuck on the same part of the norn story (Rumors of Trouble). It's definitely tough, I literally cannot do it. I know how to dodge, how to utilize my pets and my weapon sets, and yet I cannot for the life of me do it alone. It doesn't help that the NPC's accompanying you die within the first mob.

In fact it's mostly this 'Rumors of Trouble' for the Norn. Any others had a bash at this one?

Edit:-
Finally found this video which should help me.

How is guild wars 2 with Crossfire ??? any buggy laggy fps drops ?

Crossfire is a bit broken at the moment. If you look at the map or on certain cut scenes you drop right down if frames until you alt tab out of the game and then come back which fixes it. It's easier to disable 1 card (which is what I have done) until a new cap or drivers come out.

It all seems a bit wonky for performance vs the cards, even on a gtx460 i get 50-80ish with the new drivers. Once they get it all tweaked out you foks on better cards should be getting some silly fps.

i just had guildwars patch 2 times just now.

Ursa starying area 70fps steady.

weird maybe patch fixed sli?:D

I have improved my performance in game by enabling then disabling and again re enabling vsync. its goes from 30 fps to 60. Bugged engine or drivers I think. (nvidia card here latest beta drivers.)

Where is the best place to go for game discussion?

Are guildwars2guru the best forums atm ?

I noticed the official forums are down for the time being, anyone know why?

just so you know you are meant to have 2 sets of weapons on active switch all the time to make finishing moves through your starting moves and to trigger certain effects with the auras you leave behind. You definitely misunderstand the 5 skills per weapon system and mistakenly think it is simple - it's the most complex system to master. ps if anyone knows a location of a guide to all the various weapon switching finishers for a warrior please let me know as I've only found a couple.

Really? I seem to have misunderstood yes! I was assuming the second weapons would simply be for when you get bored lol. Oh god... Please explain what you mean, or at least point me in the right direction?

Well after 3 days play I have to say I have realy enjoyed the game so far I even got see the shatter dragon last night even thou I was only there for 5 mins i got 5 items only blues but they were free ;-)
Atm i am level 53 ranger and yes i did sleep as well :)

This is the first mmo I have enjoyed since lotro, I was considering giving up on mmorpg's but I am so glad I gave it a go.
