We don't need ANOTHER thread for hints and tips, we just need one for guilds perhaps.

Hum I've got no POI near the dam and completed Queensdale

Wab, who do I need to get in contact for an invite?

Change the record, eh?
I don't think I'm overly negative of the game. On the contrary, GW2 is a specious example of a game that seems to be immune to criticism from the gaming community. Everyone has such high hopes and so much resting on it being good that they're not so willing to question what isn't being done right. Yes, they introduced keybindings... well, OK. Well done for keeping up with functionality from first-gen MMO's. I am not grateful for that, as it was a criminal omission in the first place. I just don't dig loading screens and Overflow all the time, breaking up my gameplay experience. I'm not even on a particularly high-pop server, and so far there has been very little 'social excitement' over this game. Why? Because we're all forced to play single-player all the time (not to mention, funnily enough, nobody communicates in these new 'dynamic' group events).

Biggest problem is that nobody communicates because they've removed the holy trinity. They themselves killed the teamwork feel of these dynamic events themselvers.
Not that anyone would communicate even if they needed to, it would only be done by pre-organized groups.
