Well yeah, but typically the reason one is bored upon hitting max level is they find that their exploration (what usually ends upon max level) comes to an end, which is why I pointed those things out, as opposed to what actually fully opens up at end-game, rather to expand on what you do during levelling.

As for the bugs, they're certainly being flattened each day ;)

I love playing an engineer as it reminds me of my favourite char in GW1 (a Ritualist) with steam-punk overtones.

Like you I find rifles better than pistols. Explosives Trait is fine as it increases 'Power', but add Inventions trait points too as it adds 'Toughness'.

I also find bombs do loads of damage at melee range, but grenades are tricky to use generally.

But engineers are cool, and really suit Asura or Charr characters.
 
is there anywhere online i can buy it to download instantly?

GMG dont have it and their 25% off code would have been perfect (theyre out of stock) but even at GW2 website they seem out of stock too.
dont fancy any russian keys though, unless some of you can vouch for the site
 
All I can say about CJS - when the s&*^ hit the fan they didn't quibble with crediting my account. Took me over a month before my account was then able to take a key but that was more Anets handling than CJS.

I would love GW2 to carry on selling like hotcakes, but they really need to sort out the little bugs & issues before they enable digital DL's again. You only have to look at the whinging the people that have bought the game are doing (I would consider the current player-base to be 95% hardened MMO'er so more forgiving in nature ;)). The casual that will undoubtedly be picking it in future won't be so much, so word of mouth wont be as good.

So every time I launch the game it decides it always has "8 files remaining", downloads 100mb then allows me to play! What is up with that? Seem to have downloaded 800mb+ of data that doesn't exist :confused:
 
first one about 30/40 mins. still awaiting on second but i only bought it 20minutes ago for wife.

Edit - second just came through now.

Is Dessolation way over populated, tempted by Gun hold.

Becasue of the other problems anet are having they decided not to bring them online yet.

Our most important priority at the moment is to ensure that the game runs stably and flawlessly. So as to not create additional demand on our infrastructure and on our programming team, we made the decision not to open the forums until the initial mass influx of players has calmed down a bit.

Desolation getting completely spanked on WvW.

Mindless zerg dying off and perhaps the numbers Desolation have isn't as good and they can't quite manage tactics? Be interesting to see how things develop.

Funny though as this is the first time Desolation is losing and the queue was only 15mins rather than 3+ hours. So many people just want an easy ride these days :p

check AV or something similar isn't interfering with the guild wars two folder that's in your c:\ profile area. varies from OS to OS but there's a GW2 folder there that it uses as cache whilst downloading.

i ordered from electronicfirst over an hour ago and still no key...sent them and email and they claim they havent recieved payment from paypal and paypal website shows payment completed.

wish i hadn't bothered

Struggling with tailoring as a prof on my necro, can never get the mats! Only 11/75 and to be fair I'm enjoying the game so much I don't particularly want to spoil my enjoyment by having to farm :p

Great game though so far, as others have mentioned really enjoying taking it easy and just taking in all the sights and seeing all the events. Great game! :D
