Guild Wars 2

it's not empty, it just seems emptier than release week because everyone is now spreading across different zones with mains and alts etc.

Surely the only thing you could really be doing is buying all the mats at lowest price and then selling them at a higher price because you'll effectively control the lowest price... sounds confusing huh but do you see what I mean?

I.E people can see the lowest price to pay for an item at all times so naturally (or you would hope) they would purchase the lowest price item... why pay more?

There the only to effect the market would be to buy up the lowest cost items and hope that you then clear out the cheap and sell them for slighty more before the cheap ones start to appear again.

Server is still busy, yeah like most the first month is up, and even tho its F2P, you still get then burnout drops, and with MoP (or whatever from the kids the mmo) lot less people playing.

nonsense about dessolation feeling empty. it feels just as busy as it was at launch for me anyway and i have traveled around 30% of the map.

Also, WvW has still long ques to join so if dessolation is dead, how come it takes hours for people to join WvW?

Agree with this tbh I always see people questing ect some zone have more people in that others also you need to remember hell of lot zones in a game and people have spread out an awful lot. The higher level zones are not that busy but lots of people are still leveling and people who have hit level 80 tend to roll alts ect.

because its well known and documented by the developer that the WvW queue system is broken!?! thats how come....

the fact that I can walk into Lions Arch or any of the big caps and find only a few people hanging around is pretty poor, even in the dark days of GW1 it felt much much busier. I moved from Gunnars to Des because everyone said it was a better community - its not.

the fact that people are actually out and about umm u know questing and actually playing the game says it all on why cities may not have much people in it.

i see very few people questing too. maybe there hiding in a secret cave I dont know about? Ever tried to find a dungeon group without waiting the better part of an hour

I've got to level 18 with my norn ranger and I'm feeling bored.

I think swtor is better, gw 2 is free though so theres no rush to play and I like that.

Try another class Eames or even just another race, starting zones vary enormously and you can access other racial areas via portals at each race capital although you have to run through the lower level ones to get to the 10-15 etc zone

Loved Norn but didn't like the starting zone, the Azura ones were far more fun and less white!

It just goes to show how different everyone is.

I started with a warrior and got bored before hitting level 10 and binned it. Then I made a Norn ranger and I'm still really enjoying it 59 levels later.

To each, their own! :)

Well you can't really compare to wow because it doesn't have a sub, people can stop and start playing at any time and there is no way to measure it. It will be around as long as wow with it being f2p but people may not play continually as they are not forced to with a sub.

Personally I'll be playing this as my main mmo.

Silly season comments again, yes the servers have got emptier anyone who believes different is just not very bright & cant count, on the other hand its not that bad, it could ever ever be called dead, and it will grow its population again.

And yes I am right because I have a very good reference to check, 2 weeks ago at the buys times we would have 70/80 people on line during the quiet times 35/45

We now in the day have around 14/18 and around 40/50 at peak times on a good day,

Yes people have left the guild but we have picked up maybe 3 times the amount that left (182 in guild).

2/3 Weeks ago we would have (checked via roster history in game) around 147 people log in a day we now get over the last 3 days 103/107/72, so quite a drop.

Meh, we all play games for very different reasons but it certainly isn't a reflection on the game its self.

Just a lot of bleating on about - well - nothing. *shrugs*
