Reinstalled GW2 after not playing for ages. Have Thief and Warrior but think I might level something new.

Neverender.3752 if there is a guild around.

Leveling a Thief atm and really enjoying it but I'm only level 18. Probably the only class I REALLY like the look of though.

My current Guild has died a slow death and nobody seems to be online anymore. So if there's room - add Erunantion (on phone at moment so can't remember the name.numbers).

Yeah, my Guild basically did the same thing. Is the playerbase shrinking?

Of course doesn't affect me other than having someone to chat to. I don't team with people as I feel the teaming mechanic is broken/flawed.

Doubt it. Probably getting bigger if anything with a new expansion coming.

the guild uses it for upgrades and to buy the flags you see people placing around. You just helped us double the space in out treasure trove to 200 spaces

So as a new starter on this game, where should i be looking to roll for a decent server? I see desolation mentioned a lot but does it have queues to log in etc?

No, not had one so far and I'm on desolation. As long as its an EU server you should be fine.

The game no longer has the insane populations of launch time (mega servers evidence this) but it's always busy, one thing I find effects the population is there are so many remnant guild from launch with 5-10 players. Each to their own but I wish there was some incentive made for smaller guilds to merge as I think you miss out on some cool stuff if you are in smaller guilds.

Well surely that is the incentive then? you are missing out on stuff if you dont merge

up to level 53 now, shooting through the levels!

I take it decent equipment doesn't appear until level 80 from the bosses you fight etc?

the world bosses seem to drop level appropriate items although I have seen the odd preemptive drop from them.

I've unlocked quite a few dungeons now that I'm level 53, i think newts is only 1 level off 40 too so i think another dungeon is available to him soon?

Can we do the other paths of the ascalon catacombs?

EDIT: Found my hall of monuments portal stone yesterday on another character, pity i didn't complete a few more GW1 achievements but i've got a few weapon and armour skins that look cool yay!
