Guilty Confessions: What game did you not finish?

Bioshock 1. I got to the part where it takes your health back down, then i lost my save games, so i just given up at that point.

GTA SA Got the rocket pack and just though, how can it get any better than this?

There are other games i've got pretty far in, then had to reinstall windows or had some major problem causing me to lose the lot, and just cba to start the games from the beginning again.

Deus Ex spent lots of time on my first game and got basically to the end only to lose the save data.

Tried a few more playthroughs but can never seem to find the time for it to keep me interested long enough.

Brilliant game though.

GTA3 - got stuck on the 2nd island, came back to it 6.5 years later, did a couple of missions to unlock 3rd island, got stuck again

Oblivion - played around 70-80hrs, realised some of pahncrd's mods weren't working, fixed that, found it much harder / more annoying with the mods enabled, gave up

Midnight Club 2 - got to around 70% completion and got stuck/bored

no one Lives Forever 2: Contract JACK - got really far in (space level) and got stuck, can't for the life of me work out where I need to go (even with a walkthrough)

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 - got basically right near the end of the game but got stuck, think I've seen pretty much 90% of what there was to see though.

Same. I have ME2 sitting here unopened as well.

Mafia. Got as far as the opening scenes and got bored.

Played dead rising 1 over and over again thoroughly enjoyed it but could never get past the boss battle with Brock.....maybe one day lol

I started mass effect did a couple of hours.. Then finshed mass effect 2 and then went back and did mass effect....???

Mafia. Stuck at it until the roof tops. Good game but for some reason got fed up with it. Funny because the racing part i did, where most either cheat or give up.

Half Life 1 - got to the final boss, and saved. Then my OS completely died, so had to do a complete reinstall. And never had the willpower to go all the way through the game again.............

Vampire Bloodlines, absolutely loved playing it but never got round to finishing it.

Got bored with it, sort of. To be honest ME and ME2 are games that you really need to give your undivided attention to and explore every avenue within the game to get the best out of them both. Just found that I didn't have the time to do so after a while and also, by the time I finally did make an attempt to start playing it again I had forgotten what I had played through before, lots of plot twists and basically what was what/who was who etc which made it slightly more confuzzling to play.

Doom 3 - it scared the crap out of me at the time, had to stop playing.
Bioshock 2 - completed #1 but got bored with #2.

I'm playing Oblivion again with mods as I never completed the main quest before.

HL2 EP2 - I got all the way to the finale, with the stalkers and the driving between bases and just thought CBA cya.......

I assume its the end ?

I never got further than the prison in HL2 either. My brain just kept telling me, you're not playing this because it's fun, you're playing it because everyone keeps telling you it's fun, but it's not really, stop it now and go play something else, you know you want to, this idiot gordon can't even speak for god's sake.

Oblivion, I complete most my games but this one keeps haunting me. I've installed the game 5 odd times with mods, complete overhauls, quests, everything.

Each time I get half way or 3/4 through and give up because I get bored, but at the same time it's so fun , all the quests and added quests from mods and places to explore makes it awesome, but I find going into the Oblivion gates dull and I also hate when the gates start popping up everywhere. I'll come back to it again in the future I'm sure, too many great mods for it.
