Morning Everyone.
I went to turn on my two week old macbook and it won’t boot.
I get the flashing folder and nothing else. It will boot from CD but when I run disk utilities the hard disk isn't mounted.
Also when I go to re-install OSX there is no disk to mount too.
I tried resetting the pvram as per http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58042 but made no difference.
I ran a hardware check (holding down d with disk in) but it said it was fine.
This is my first apple computer and I was in love up until now. Im suspecting it will have to go back.
Ill be ringing customer support first thing in the morning
