What an amusing situation.


Do you find it more annoying that you were going to put some effort in and therefore you feel she should stay and be wow'd to boost your own ego?

Or do you honestly just want to spend a romantic evening with her? If it is this one then let her go to the football and take her out when its not overpriced with crappy hearts and some polish person trying to sell you a rose as you walk down the high street every 15minutes.

Most men would rather their partners would forget about it, unless it was the only time of year that they get some sexy time.

I like doing romantic things but randomly as otherwise it feels false.

Let her go, she probably just see's it as commercial, have a romantic weekend away another time when prices go down and you can put your balls in the back of her net.

My missus is really into valentines day unfortunately, not wasting money on each other or that crass garbage but spending time together, god dammit woman I spend all year with you! :p:p:)

I would, Soccer is a girls/wimps game, non contact kind of sport. It seems perfectly normal to me that females bought up with gendernormative roles would like the game. It really confuses me when supposedly macho men like Soccer, its such a wimpy game.

Guess we should hate Tennis, Athletic events, Snooker and Basketball etc then :rolleyes:.
