Excellent, seems the game won't launch now, task manager shows SOE launch pad but nothing happens 
They need to tone down the frequency of loot. There is far too much! Players are fully geared within an hour, rendering crafting useless. Every cabinet seems to yield tinned food, and weapons are far too plentiful. My friends and I quickly found ourselves caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. Neither of us survived, sadly.
After the most recent patch, I decided to respawn and head towards a nearby truck stop. I ended up with two shotguns and a rifle within the first five minutes!

They will definitely tone it down, it was always going to reach a point when there was too much when people kept asking for it to be buffed, the amount of it didn't need buffing, it was the respawning of it which was the problem.

Well it was being buffed and it had no outcome, then they found the bug that was stopping the loot from spawning. But it was buffed and buffed from the other patches which at the time was not even working due to the bug they found. Now it is fixed it is mega buffed lol.

Tried one the night before last, it's good fun. Although the toxic gas is very annoying! And not sure if it was part of the "event" but an airdrop happened to land near me when I was going cross country and managed to get everything useful from it! It was then swiftly followed by other planes, but they didn't drop nice little air packages, they dropped bombs.

I have BT, mine launches I get to the h1z1 screen but the bit where it says click to continue never shows up.

I don't even get that far Witcher, i can get the loading screen to pop up were the Zombie is walking towards you, then it just goes black...

Doesn't look like there's a fix yet, probably best for a few of us to contact BT to draw their attention to it.

Seems people are getting in using VPN, but i really can't be arsed with that, it does seem to be affecting everyone on BT though.

Playing Witcher 1 so not really bothered atm, but have you tried changing DNS? Think you have to do it control panel side as I don't thing the BT routers allow you to do it any other way.

A power down cycle on my router (unplugging and leaving it off for 60s) got me back into it, i've not tried to relaunch the game yet though to see if it's a temp fix.

We have internally fixed a few of the duping methods that most of the offenders are using but since the game is still in Early Access and there are bugs to be found, some more pop up here and there.
Early Access, as stated numerous times, is a place for you guys to help report these issues as they arise. We have now come to a place where we have people actively abusing the game exploits and ruining the experience for others.
Granted, as we go along from patch to patch, a lot of these exploits will be found and fixed. But until the duping problem is fixed, we are going to be actively banning people who are using the exploits over and over again and ruining the core experience.
If you come across a duping bug and report it to us or accidently have it happen to you, you don’t need to fear being banned. We want people to report bugs, that is the point of Early Access. We have ways of monitoring your activity in-game, similar to the way we deal with hackers. Only the people duping over and over will be banned.
This is your warning moving forward from right now. 1/27/2015. If you are caught abusing a duping exploit you will be banned from H1Z1. We have a zero tolerance policy for hackers and as long as duping remains an issue for people trying to enjoy the game, you will be treated equally.
The duping bugs shouldn’t remain and issue too much longer since we patch them out relatively quickly but let this be an official warning to you now.
P.S. – We are getting a good handle on hackers and have already removed a large number of them from the game. Similar to duping, you will see less and less of it as we move along through Early Access. Thanks for your patience and with your help we will make H1Z1 and incredible gaming experience for everyone! Yea they seem to be doing a pretty good job this far. Hopefully they keep it up.
On a side note; found my first hunting rifle but never got to use it as I got over powered by a group of Russians. Not before I killed 2 of their group first though with my pistol. Was tempted to log but thought that was a cowards action!! Wish I had now!!
