H1Z1 - Zombie apocalypse sandbox from SOE

Hey all,

I picked this up this morning after watching Battle Royale on stream. I am trying to get into a game at the moment and I am second in a queue and have stayed there for around 5 mins and the counter is just stuck on 1min to go (it does move but not far from this). Do I have to restart the queue? Is this a known issue.

Also, I only seem to be able to choose battle royale with the US option checked only. Is it not available on EU?

Yeah, you weren't quick enough. You have to be mega fast on hitting the play button and entering a character name or it fills up. The servers show as offline whilst a game is in progress, so you were probably just lucky that a US server was accepting new players as you ticked the button. Tick the EU one, make a brew and wait patiently. Then be quick about hitting the button and typing a name in when it becomes available. :)

So I got H1Z1 and have to say so far no one has KOS'ed. Met a couple of players in the Birmingham server and told them I am friendly and ran off no problem. Note I don't hang around with them.

I have found it super easy to find loot in the first 4 hrs of playing. No doubt I will die soon....... So what is a good way to store a hunting rifle? I have one but no ammo, as well as a 1911 9mm with 6 rounds. I was hoping to store the hunting rifle and some supplies as I expect to be killed very soon (no doubt).

I was going to run around with the 9mm tonight, but I fully expect to die lots as a noob (I remember rust!). It would be a shame to be carrying everything when I die (especially the hunting rifle which is valuable but also useless without ammo)

I can never get into battle royale game. Either servers all greyed out or when i do get into Queue it gives me estimated time like 2 minutes yet i wait for 30 mins then give up.
I have tickets even though i think its bs having to buy them even though we payed for early access.
