They are currently being DDOS'd by the Lizard squad. So making it tough to play at the moment.

I like it, for the price it's given me a lot of entertainment. To be honest Battle Royale is where the fun is at - the general servers are just boring.

Phoooey! Finally won my first BR with a buddy last night. Totally thrilling and confusing since I didn't even realize I was the last person after taking out two guys. The timer went down and all of a sudden it was "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner"

If you want PVE, I'd recommend ARK. H1Z1 is all about the PVP.

I believe this is currently £6 on green man gaming.

So you might want to look there.

Well looking at footage of BR which looks interesting and the fact I can get it for £6, I'm going to give it a blast. Anyone use a controller on it?

I don't believe controllers are supported.

You wouldn't want to use one for this game either, you'd be at such a disadvantage on Battle Royale.

I will be up for teaming up on BR.

If you're in a densely populated area with bases then yes.

It is normal for the game in its current state. They're supposed to be optimising it at some point.
