It would be nice if you could have a secret stash somewhere like under a tree or something or a hole in the ground where you could store a kitbags worth of stuff eg a set of clothes, compass, matches or handgun.
The reason Day Z had massive hacking issues was due to arma engine and the fact it was coded in a stupid way that made cheating ridiculously easy (more info here http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/55030-hackers-what-you-need-to-know/)
H1Z1 is on the planetside engine so completely different. Sony have proved with Planetside they are right on top of hacking.
I'm not saying there won't be any hackers in H1Z1,(because there are some in planetside, no game is hack proof) but it will be as big of an issue as hacking is in planetside - ie not very.
well there will be the opportunity for cooperative play and construction so presumably there would have to be some kind of banking system, if only between groups. i kind of like the idea of building a community rather than having a magical completely impervious bank accessible from anywhere. I hope it works like that.
My biggest concern by far is hackers and griefers. We all know what a shambles dayz was for hackers and griefers early days and this is F2P. Again i think community is going to be quite important in ensuring that is kept at bay.
OCUK Village for teh win.
If it has stupid carry weight or global bank I'm out. That defeats the point if a survival game.
Although you would need some sort of bank for a hideout when no one from the group is online.
Hard one, but I hope it's well though out and not just the usual rubbish.
I wonder if theyll start selling stuff like that - specialist buildings and the like. It could be argued it doesnt interfere with the core gameplay mechanics and you could have some pre-existing requirements like certain sized settlement etc.
Obviously would be preferable not to but they have to monetise somehow, and im thinking the clothing isnt going to cut it.
