I'm not really sure how to explain it concisely... it took around 10 years of video games design for the parallels to become apparent to me.

I first noticed the similarity between reality and computer games when I was studying programming.

The program is the equivalent to the quantum level of reality and the physical world we experience is the image we'd see displayed on our monitors.

Couldn't a flip-side of that, rather than oh so spiritual humans trapped in the Matrix, we really are programmes. We could be designed to be an incredibly sophisticated computer simulation of human minds? A bit like Hitch Hiker's supercomputer i.e. the Earth, but not an organic one.

That's because games are generally designed to replicate real life, to some extent... not the other way around.

So, you're saying that when the Wachowski Brothers wrote "The Matrix" they accidentally stumbled onto what, if it were true, is the single most largest and World changing truth ever to exist? Slight coincidence there, don't you think?

He hasn't done anything wrong. He just found his little niche, built up his special OCUK personality and now exploits it at every opportunity. He probably doesn't even believe this stuff himself, but it's just so easy for him to creat a 10 page thread with a 2 line opening post.

The problem* with OCUK is the application of Logic to everything. If it cannot logically be explained, then it cannot be true. The effect of feeding the OCUK machine the inexplicable is like giving sweets to a hyperactive toddler.

*not really a problem in a negative sense, just an interesting fact.

Personally i cant wait for the great magick/Teki187 alliance of 2009. Imagine the lizardman ufo's! now if only dvdbunny were still here. We'd be able to sell them on the black market.

There's only one major problem with this.
Modern computer graphics have only been with us the last 20 years where man has lived on the earth for around 2000 years since Jesus.
