I blame Corbyn for this.
Not at all, but what should be pointed out is how the Romans, the very same Romans went of a military campaign to kill everyone north of the walls, yes there are two walls, one in England but also one more to the north in the Scottish central belt. So basically they the Romans committed genocide against the Picts, from top to bottom of what is now today Scotland, the Scotti who were Irish moved into Scotland after the Romans left as the Romans had depopulated there through genocide, so they can own that history right there.Campaigners call for focus on Hadrian's Wall 1,900-year ethnic history - BBC News
Mohammed Dhalech says African and Middle Eastern people get little mention along the route.www.bbc.com
Let's rewrite the history books to be more inclusive.
Doesn't seem like it, the Gammons on here are so thin skinned they get offended by everything. Is there nothing these people won’t moan about?
Maybe it's just me but I fail to see what's so inflammatory, more like..You don't? It's an inflammatory article on the BBC
ThisI personally didn't know there was an ethnic history to the area, so I find it quite interesting.
And this.I don't think history is about to be rewritten or anything though.
They probably marched most of the way but yes, contingents from Germany were based on the wall as well as from elsewhere. Auxiliaries did much of the heavy lifting and fighting on the frontiers of empire. This is what I was thinking. It's not like these people travelled here themselves. They were shipped here and stuffed on a guardswatch.
stop using gammon to describe people, it’s a slurDoesn't seem like it, the Gammons on here are so thin skinned they get offended by everything.

This
And this.
So did Hitler
stop using gammon to describe people, it’s a slur
africa enslaved its own people then sold them, we need more educating about it and all the genocides that happened in africa in recent historyI notice the various ethnic groups always shouting “we were in this bit of history too, you know!” keep really quiet about people from their various ethnicities being members of the German armed forces including Waffen SS units in WW2.
Is that strange? It's not like we celebrate the darker parts of our history eitherI notice the various ethnic groups always shouting “we were in this bit of history too, you know!” keep really quiet about people from their various ethnicities being members of the German armed forces including Waffen SS units in WW2.
I wouldn’t moan if I was allowed to call a spade a spade, but I’m not, so equal treatment for all please
You never did answer my query about was it was that has made you so thin skinned nowadays? I mean, you always seem to hark back to the good old days where you could call a spade a spade, but now get so hot under the collar about the term gammon
White = bad Black = good. You clearly didn't get the message.africa enslaved its own people then sold them, we need more educating about it and all the genocides that happened in africa in recent history

We all know what he means. Yet is offended by gammon.I wouldn’t moan if I was allowed to call a spade a spade, but I’m not, so equal treatment for all please
What do I mean then? Go on, spell it outI mean...

lolWhat do I mean then? Go on, spell it out
And he just lols when I ask him to explain it as he knows I’m fundamentally right, but he could never admit that. His sort never admit when they’re in the wrong because they stubbornly insist they never are.Gammon is an insult based on someone's flushed skin colour. Should be anathema to people like Tony but for some reason they embrace it.

Of course it’s not ok to say that, I totally accept that it’s wrong to slur someone based on their skin colour, but that’s exactly what gammon does, yet it’s tolerated. Why?I don't think that but presumably someone does. I won't say any more as I'll be suspended.
