Knowing valve it will just be a screenshot or title screen and nothing solid will come of gc12 for months or years to come.
I'm going with fake, hope I'm wrong though

My god it would be awesome! As and when it comes i hope its on a new source engine along with being a pc exclusive so they can really push the game!

Not fussed if it was on the old Source engine personally, as the story is the main reason I love HL. Amount of times I've been disappointed by HL3 / Ep3 rumours though I'll just go with:

UPDATE: Guess what! Gamescom are now saying that Half-Life 3 and Dragon Age 3′s appearances on the list was “a mistake”, according to Eurogamer. Although they won’t say how that mistake happened.
edit: Nothing to see here! Why would someone do this to us?! ... again...
