Even from the untrained eye, you can tell Halo 3 is significantly more aliased than none-AA 720p native games. The 360's GPU scales from 640 and outputs the image as 720 hence the mudiness of the image.

The GPU does no such thing as there is an independent scaler chip.

Infact all scaling is done on the gpu, the ana / hana chip does not do any scaling at all.

Mate I cant believe you sold it, I had to stop myslef form posting on your for sale thread when I saw it. Give it time and Im sure youll get used to it, I cant say Im a huge fan but Im sticking with it till I like it a bit more I think.

I played the SP and MP and it's incredible. However I was a little disappointed at the end of mission 4 because the E3 trailer from 2005 looked miles better

It would have been nice for it to have looked as good but it's still the best game I've played on the 360.

I was suprised as well, was expecting it to look identical as they stated in the interview vid-doc that followed that the trailer was what the game would look like. That segment looked incredibly dumbed down

Did you have it set to 'friends only' or did you change it to anyone?

I found the matchmaking gave me some pretty good matches, and I've never played Halo online before.
