That seemed a bit daft. She turned good, then a quick blast with a taser and she's bad again. Tbh I wish there were more of the hunters in there.

Because it reaffirmed the opinion of humanity that had been drilled into her by the covenent for years on end, humans being barbaric and needing to be wiped out.

Exactly, she saw a kindred spirit in John because they both seem to have this connection to the artifacts and then was blasted back into reality by the UNSC hierarchy.

Just watched the first episode on Channel 5. After a bit of a ropey start, I found it very intriguing. Want to see what happens next so will use the Game Pass perk to sign up to Paramount+ when it becomes available.

The CGI looked incredibly ropey in the first 10 mins or so that I saw.

finished the season, thought it was awesome with room for improvement.

The dr lady halsie is excellent at making me hate her. reminds me a bit of Cersei from GoT.

Interesting. In the first episode, I was rooting for her as the "good guy" with the Indian admiral as being the bad guy.

Yes, I thought the first couple of episodes Halsie was little underwhelming but the acting somehow picked up many notches as her story developed and now i just want to stab her in the eyes

I've not watched yet but planning to. I've heard that it's like a new age power rangers rip off though and nothing like the games.

It isn’t like the games, and I think that’s a good thing. You may as well go and watch a game movie made using cutscenes if you want that.

They took the lore and characters and made a version of it where you could have more character depth and more interesting storylines, rather than just “Chief blows **** up” which works well for the games.

I wouldn’t say so - there’s a few filler episodes and some side-stories it could do without but the action scenes are good when they happen.

Was OKish. Some filler episodes, some fantastic episodes. Some stunning looking scenes, some really average.

My problem with is they've fundamentally changed the main character, the Spartans. I don't just mean their personalities. But they are a system linked to their suits. In this show the suit its treated just like a change of clothes.

I'm all for a new storyline but why overwrite the existing story.

Otherwise it's entertaining enough. I just feel I'm watching a alternative version of the same story I've already read and seen.

Are they fixed in the suit in the lore? I always thought it was removable.
