I look forward to Mr.Men GP winning the the 2014 WDC and Constructors titles as it's so easy.

There's a nice Toyota car that they never raced you can have and I'll chip in £50 to see you through the season.

Who said it was easy? Again you are creating a scenario I never said just to have a go.

Please define done a lot.

There is no definition, just an opinion that he has done little to take Mercedes forward. If you think he has done a lot then I am perfectly happy for you to have that opinion.

I've stated this twice already.

2009 World Drivers Championship
2009 Constructors Championship

Given that it was on effectively skeleton staff and on a minuscule budget an it's an immense achievement.

/EDIT :
You stated he had done very little since leaving Ferrari. Don't go moving the goalposts. ;)

Yes sorry, not a lot. Buying a team and winning a clean sweep in the first and only season is 'not a lot'.

A car that was 2 years in the making with millions spent on it and about 3 wind tunnels running non stop. Sorry but he did not rock up buy the team and create that car overnight.

That car would have won if you bought the team.

Brawn GP invested far more time on the 2009 car than any other team. They had at least a 6 month head start on all the other teams. Reports suggested that the team had up to 4 wind tunnels working overtime throughout 2008 just on the 2009 car.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/148647-why-brawn-gps-success-isnt-a-surprise

The budget that Brawn GP is working on is another significant factor. When Ross Brawn bought the team he was given 100 million pounds by Honda to keep the team alive for the 2009 season.

100 million pounds is the amount that Honda would have had to fork out, in order to close down the factory, and make all the staff (over 700 of them) redundant. This would obviously have made Honda look very bad, so decided that giving the same sum to Ross to keep the team alive was better for their reputation.

Brawn GP also received an advanced commercial payment from FOM boss Bernie Ecclestone. That makes a total of 140 million pounds, which for one season is a decent and workable budget. In 2007 the top spending teams spent in the region of 200 million pounds just to give a comparison.

Brawn GP are looking to agree a long term deal with Virgin to become a long-term sponsor. This could add even more funds to what is already a useful budget.

The team’s factory in Brackley boasts some of the finest facilities in F1. Their wind tunnels for example are state of the art, and up there with the best in F1.

Money doesn't buy results, ask Toyota. Little point trying to change your mind as you're simply going to discredit any piece of evidence that Brawn has done something post Ferrari.

some people would believe brawn started a team from scratch and won a championship in its first season or that he was a person who designed cars....

you know how brawn started right?

I certainly don't think that. Brawn capitalised on a good project start and followed the job through.

These threads are getting worse and worse, I come on here and have to scan through pages of childish pointless trolling and arguments to find the odd normal post dotted in between them.

I normally don't care but it's getting beyond a joke here sadly..

Winning a world championship seems to qualify as a lot.

I'm not a big poster in this section as my interest in F1 is merely casual, so I tend to skim read as I don't have much to contribute but I felt compelled to post. Why are you here? All I ever see you and a certain other poster do is pick petty arguments with virtually every other poster in this section. It's completely bizarre. It's not even as if you seem to hold rational, logical viewpoints you like to passionately debate either - it's mostly just nonsense that changes tack every time somebody highlights the near complete lack of any logic whatsoever.

If you read the background to the title they won then you might further your knowledge rather than casual.

As for the rest brilliant coming from you :) I never picked any petty argument, you will find plenty other F1 fans feel Brawn has not been much of a success since he left Ferrari on various F1 forums. And not once did I change tact on this opinion.
