US: Hannibal

What a fantastic start to the new series!

The season preview at the end makes it look like it will be tasty. ;)

Agreed, second seasons can be rubbish after epic first seasons but good to see this has carried on how if left off.

Have to say from the season preview beginning bit, does seem Jack is dead as it seemed Hannibal cut his artery. The question is, when does Jack realise and does anyone else know.

Oh... it hasn't even been aired yet

Well considering you are in the US TV show section............

Also from what I read yesterday there is no planned UK air date at the moment for season 2 which is a real shame.

Is there a date for when Series 2 comes to Sky?

I'm not sure on how the timeline is going to play out, and how much of season 2 is going to take part in the 12 weeks prior to the start of episode 1. That's the real question, especially after he says Hannibal isn't guilty....

As an aside I love all the little things Hannibal says when people are dining with him, they are blissfully unaware what they are eating, yet to us it's blatantly obvious.

I can't believe they ruined the whole second season by opening with a massive spoiler like that.

I was looking forward to finding out if they catch Hannibal, but within the first few seconds of the second season it becomes apparent that they do .

EDIT: Now it's turned into a courtroom drama. No wonder it's in the friday night death slot. Shame as it could have been a decent show.

I dont assume those events actually happen, it could just be an imagining .

I have watched the films though so I kinda figure thats how it turns out :p

its actually like how its playing out. they could have just copied the films and milked it but its going well.

Season 4 will be based on Red Dragon if it lasts that long, not that it'll be a copy of the films though.

I really liked that film but dont remember all the details so that'd be ideal most likely. This series is pretty horrific tbh, maybe more so then the films.

I would have liked to seen the underground scene played out. Thats all Wills fault, some genius

Yeah it has started to get pretty good now. Cant wait till next weeks ep, the trailer looked very interesting.

Really enjoyed the latest episode. Mads is just a damn fine actor.

He didn't half get hardcore on the CSI bird

really great episode. some of the filming and art is stunning anyone who seen it notice the hitler sink. that was mind melting :p.

he definitely went deep :D

Your spoiler isn't a real example of being clever

Drugging her and also using real animal meat for his guests was

Remember in episode 5 where Hannibal did that nifty trick with the egg?

We are more than a bit concerned with the Benihana egg trick called for in the script. I’ve tried it and can only get it 1 out of 4 tries, and I’ve seen Benihana chefs flub the manoeuver when they have an entire grill as target. Mads has to crack his eggs into a 8-inch diameter skillet. The props Master calls his guy. The Production Manager calls in his guy. I call my guy. On the morning of the shoot we have 8 dozen eggs and 3 Japanese chefs with their hands made up to be hand doubles.

I guess I don’t have to tell you that when Mads arrives on set, I briefly describe the egg trick to him whereupon he just tosses an egg up in the air and breaks it perfectly on the spatula. Did it. Unbelievable. I insist it was a lucky fluke but he does it again. I accuse him of practicing when I wasn’t looking but he laughs (as if he has time to practise egg-cracking between scenes) and confesses he was a juggler in his youth.
