US: Hannibal

Yeah ridiculous, if it gets canned then Netflix/Amazon/HBO/Showtime/insert proper network should absolutely pick it up.

Main problem seems that it's way too good a show for NBC, not nearly enough of a procedural cheese-fest to belong on mainstream network TV :p

"I hear very positive things," Fuller revealed, according to Digital Spy. "All of the creatives at NBC are so supportive of the show and want it back, and the schedules and salespeople are like, 'It's a new show, get rid of it'. We are banking on the creative people winning out over the salespeople."
Go *&^% yourselves, salespeople :p

Yeah, can't believe I missed the reference with Margot and heir to the swine empire previously - great addition to the storyline of the show

I really can't wait to see what happens after the fight with Jack Crawford.

Probably wrong but I'm thinking that this fight is in Will's mind and doesn't actually happen. Is Will truly losing himself and that the Jack/Hannibal fight is the good side of Will trying to retake control after Will empathises/essentially becomes Hannibal due to Will's 'condition'?

I mean does Jack really know what is going on?

Looking back at the ice fishing scene a couple of episodes back perhaps he doesn't and this was possibly just another of Will's fishing fantasy's? But considering the discussion they have is very roundabout and ambiguous it could just be Jack keeping his distance. However Jack also has not (that we have seen) been checking in on Will and has seemingly abandoned him. This was something he probably wouldn't do again after Miriam Lass. Also looking at when Jack shoots down Will when they're watching the interview of Peter (the guy who was kicked by a horse) about Will 'Picking the wrong man' or words to that effect when Will remarks that Peter knows who the killer is. A little firmly shot down there... but again that could be Jack playing it safe.

Who knows :D I'm enjoying it regardless!

Jack doesnt know, that would not add up.
He is far more a man who acts on his conclusions, he lacks that extreme empathy where as Will on the other hand is a visionary
The real question is does Will get it.

I got the pig reference to the movie, too much of coindence so that makes me doubly dull for not realising who that character then was

Started watching this a few days ago, up mid season two, really good show.

It is by far the most gory show I have ever seen, not one to wince easily but seems like it happens on every show. By far the best bodies / wound effects I have seen, the one where that black kid is in that mural and pulls away the stitches, dear god!!

Could some help explain what's going on in season 2, I'm up to date s2 e10 but a little confused as rushed through the series.

Does Will still know who Hannibal is, is he just playing along so he and jack can catch him. Has he actually killed that reporter? And eaten her? If not hanibal would know by the meat or perhaps he's used the meat from the fridge and got her locked up. The fridge meat being left overs from the bear guy he killed.

Surely if Will is trying to lure hanibal, hanibal would know from a mile off. From both jack and wills reactions. Or is will being turned into one of hanibals pet projects?
