US: Hannibal

Could some help explain what's going on in season 2, I'm up to date s2 e10 but a little confused as rushed through the series.

Does Will still know who Hannibal is, is he just playing along so he and jack can catch him. Has he actually killed that reporter? And eaten her? If not hanibal would know by the meat or perhaps he's used the meat from the fridge and got her locked up. The fridge meat being left overs from the bear guy he killed.

Surely if Will is trying to lure hanibal, hanibal would know from a mile off. From both jack and wills reactions. Or is will being turned into one of hanibals pet projects?

I'm wondering the same, the show has completely lost me now. Not watched the latest episode, so maybe more is explained in that.

I didn't say it, but I knew that

Will wasn't a murderer and that Freddie was still alive. In fact, I said to my girlfriend that the 'meat' in Will's freezer was most likely supplied by the FBI forensics lab. The same lab who 'lied' and claimed that the burned corpse was positively identified as Freddie.

I thought that was his jaw and he did kill that guy but I didnt think he killed Freddie. What threw me was everybody knowing, Freddie had already hinted she knew there was a bigger picture and I can believe that but not everyone in the room pulling one over the good doctor, that does not add up sorry.
All the sophistication they give to Lecter and he cant tell people who are lying, sure he can. People always have a tell, this guy is a master at high stakes poker

Maybe Jack is played by a great actor who can just play this off but the actual character who chased chilton through the snow angry, irrational and impulsive. That is not the guy who can convince Lecter of a lie, not unless Lecter is blinded by overwhelming hatred or destruction he has for Will but this was not shown at all

Anyhow great episode, great that Alana is so much better awake and a character who questions. Too often in any series we have to believe they dont ask. A human side to Lecter was shown in this episode which makes it maybe the best of the series despite my hang ups. A killer who behaves as an animal is not interesting beyond aesthetics

well..

Will did kill Randall but that wasn't a murder, Hannibal obviously would have been able to tell apart a dead body from a fake one :p but the meat he took to Hannibal as Freddies was probably Randall's too. He didn't use all of him in the display and there was stuff in his freezer as well as his suit.

Hannibal is blinded by his obsession with Will and Jack doesn't exactly go offering his opinion on things to everyone so really the only people he comes into regular contact with are Will, who he's completely blind to and Jack who doesn't say anything. Anyone else that might know like the CSI people don't exactly talk to Hannibal anyway.

Tombo he knows :p did you not see Hannibals smile ? it was very small but it was there :D also previously he hinted at the meat. with the amount of people meat hes eaten hell know what tastes like what. he described about how frightened meat tasted for eg.

Last night's episode is forever going to be burned into my mind now along with scenes like the Ray Liotta one at the dinner table from the movies. Brilliant episode.

OMFG Mason Verger

Knew it was coming but how did they get that on network TV! :p :D
