Quelle surprise shes denying the charges:rolleyes:..im sure she will get off ie small fine and a slapped wrist...its about as much as we can expect from our gutless justice system who probably feel that MP's are above the law.

Id love to be proved wrong but i cant see it sadly:(

Because discrimination doesn't just abolish itself, it is by its very nature self-perpetuating? Why can 99.9% of white men not see how they've benefited from being white men, it's myopic to the point of embarrassment

Agreed. If it weren't for positive discrimination all of the television newsreaders in this country (as a direct example) would still be white. There has to be some kind of forced representation in some areas, especially politics.

If you need positive discrimination it shows underlying discrimination still exists in the system. Hence you should work on removing that rather than disrespecting the ideal you are aiming for.

Doubtless she'll wriggle out of this with an indignant excuse and half hearted apology, but in the mean time I'll take satisfaction that an odious career politician who is second in command of a political pary and governent that actually makes the bile rise from my stomach, is squirming like a good 'un.
 
She hit a PARKED CAR, how can she possibly have been driving with due care and attention and that's without the mobile issue. Hope to god that they throw the book at her but as usual I doubt she'll get anything more than a slapped wrist despite her blatant disregard for the safety of others or the law.
 
I think peoples main issue with HH is that she seems fascinated and devotes time to by nondescript things such as womens rights and equality. Do we really need a minister for women ? Does her crusade actually help equality or does it throw a political spanner in the works ? I suspect the latter.

While crime is a main worry for voters as is the economy and jobs, she prances about screeching sexism and inequality and devotes her time to issues that most people do not give a double foxtrot about.

She lives in an utter fantasty land and so typifies the champagne socialist and her lack of understanding about how the world turns is comical albeit worrying at the same time.

I can't think of a greater waste of space politician than her and I would not lose any sleep should a dejected electorate dump her on her backside come May '10.

Well I don't think using the term Negro is very PC this chap sounds like a right racist to me ;)

So what happens when you give a person a job because of the colour of there skin, there sex, there religious beliefs. Do you think this counter acts it? People should be given a job judged only by there ability to do the job in my opinion.

You should not have to compensate because you have a workforce consisting only of men. If the next two people you interview happen to be both a man and women then whoever is best to do the job should get it.

I think I've benefitted from being good at my job, pushing myself to gain qualifications and simply not settling for benefits and a life on the dole. Not because of my race. In fact I'd find it racist if that was ever suggested.

It's about time this heinous criminal faced punishment for her heinous crimes, which are heinous!
