Harry and Meghan to resign

Possibly because it's a billionaires plaything and they're constantly trying to shift the needle in their favour with their abuse of media ownership? These aren't 'just' private companies.

It doesn't matter how you slice the salami of their private ownership, there's no agreement between you and them like there is for say the BBC where the public have a right to shoot down mongering and substantial bias.

So it's completely up to you if you care. And if someone else does care about these grubby royal gossip stories it's not really your problem.

Surprised BBC said Harry has deep enough pockets to continue his case with Sun and underwrite a potential £10M costs, where Hugh Grant just called it, with that kind of liability.
For the owners of the Sun their goal was to avoid this going to trail by any means necessary so what the lawyers do if offer people like Hugh Grant a large settlement to avoid the claim going to court. The settlement offer is higher then anything the judge is going to award which puts the claimant in awkward position because Hugh Grant chooses to peruse the claim and wins he would have to pay for the legal costs for both sides IF the judges award is less then what was previously offered (and it will be) to avoid the case going to court.

H&M have been very separate in their recent public appearances, triggering rumours that it's all going to pot for the Prince of Canada.

I wonder if when they divorce - which I'm sure will be an utter shock to everyone - he'll come crawling back into the fold.

Why?

Drama is good for business. He just needs to get on that rage-bait farm, maybe start a cryptoscam rugpull or similar.

Not sure Harry will be welcomed back into the clan, - the prodigal son, I fought the 'Sun' and who? won
noble words by his pro-bono solicitor - our subcontractors broke the law, but the risk of loosing the house and King saying he wasn't underwriting it, tipped the balance.

[ King doing more noble things - standing in for Starmer today, seemed a bit reminiscent of Rishi and the D-day routing ]

He will try and crawl back to the royal family because he has no one else. I would imagine they will take him back on the proviso that he stays in the background.

Do you think Charles would not go if it was one of his interests/things?
google is showing him as the first monarch official visit , and not showing he went there as a prince in her stead.... so I'm sceptical that this wan't govt initiated;
(we'll see if the press castigate starmer.)

[e: this potential controversy passed me by
Berlin — Poland's government adopted a resolution on Thursday that would enable Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to attend events in the country later this month to mark 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz Nazi death camp without facing the risk of arrest under an International Criminal Court warrant. It was presented as a largely symbolic policy, as Netanyahu is not expected to attend the event.
