Harry and Meghan to resign

So apparently - according to his memoir - Harry killed 25 Taliban while in Afghanistan.

Either he’s outright lying or folks in this thread didn’t really know what was going on.

Either way the idiot has painted a big Islamic target on his back now.

Yeah, it seems like their other projects don't do anywhere near as well, their useful angle is spilling the beans on the Royals while trying not to come across as doing so too vindictively as they still need to maintain their victim status, that could get a bit tiresome eventually as how much more gossip will they have now they've been cut off and no one trusts them. Harry might well have further regrets in the future.

If it wasn't for all the rightwingers on Twitter drowning in their own froth, I'd have no idea what the couple's up to. I had to work backwards from all the outrage. And it's not mocking, from what I've seen, there's no humour on display. They're all taking offence and getting very wound up. Really strange.
 
This doesn't exactly tie in well with wanting to reconcile with his family either, just throwing William and Kate under the bus over some long past incident:

This was a private party and someone leaked a photo of a joke costume which got blown way out of proportion fast forward a few years and it's going to be seen as even worse culturally (just as some mainstream comedies haven't aged well).

Harry began to feel alienated from his family following the incident, as the book said, “The young prince began re-evaluating his elder brother’s involvement and the unfairness of William’s subsequent emergence smelling of roses.”

Jealousy and resentment aren't good reasons to drag his brother and his sister-in-law into the mud too over this, he got unfairly panned in the media over it but that's no good reason to come out, years later, with "William told me to do it".

It's got nothing to do with Meghan or any of their current dramas even, it just seems like he's been a bit bitter for a while.
 
I don't get all the outrage at these two, if they want to talk then let them. What's all this stiff upper lip nonsense to protect the institution, that's exactly what they're complaining about. Meghan seems a piece of work but if Harry likes her then so be it. He obviously has a lot on his chest he wants to let out and that's been the case for ages

Yeah I don't understand the hate. The royal family is full of evil serpents (as all elites are) and one of their own coming forward to shine a light on how bad they are can only be a good thing.

I am sure I am one of your "usual suspects" but I haven't placed much input into this thread at all. If Harry wants to find out the public and media reaction to him bringing a black American actress into the Royal family, who then throws her toys out of the pram because of the publicity she's received, then that was a game with consequences, as he's now found out, and one he most assuredly would have been warned about.

Even today mixed marriages often invoke strong negative reactions, when a Royal Family is involved, they are all but inevitable and to be stoically borne by the game participants, not clamoured about publicly.
