Harsh ruling or fair?

I know it's cruel but girls that dress like whores deserve anything they get, no matter the age.
They dress for it they ask for it.

Just no.

I used to wear mini skirts when I was younger. Because it was so warm though, not because I was trying to pull. I think it's a bit odd that you think it would then be okay for some man to touch me just for dressing for the weather?

I think ash has a point, he's not condoning the rape, but when girls do dress like that then they should expect the attention.

*Not the invitation to groping part

Last I checked "rape" was when the other person did not give consent, in this case it seems harsh to call it rape if the girls gave consent (despite being below the age of consent)

Do you guys believe that dressing in a lustful manner is something acceptable in a society where maniacs rome the streets? It certainly isnt recommendable.

Sure it doesnt justify the rape or the molestation, but it seriously does attract attention from some... highly hormonal people shall we say.

I believe that the law bascially considers them unable to give informed consent at the age of 12 so it is effectively rape. Obviously each person will be different but I would struggle to see how a 12 year old is going to look 16.

I believe that you should be able to dress however you like without being molested, raped or bothered to be honest. "They were asking for it" is a pretty old fashioned and misoginistic attitude that I had hoped was fading, but obviously it is alive and well even outside the judicary...

The problem lies with the highly hormonal people tbh. What if a girl is dressed to kill for the benefit of her partner, is she "asking for it" too?

I think it's a sad sign of the times when there isn't really a victim in this case as the girls behaviour was appalling as well.

?

In an idea world I too beleive that, but sadly it's often too reported to be a reality.

The men all handed themselves in and its quoted as saying the CPS wouldn't even have a case if they hadn't been so honest. a lot of people lie about there age, seems they just got done over.

Driving license or passport from now on before any sexual activate!
