Has anyone done a 365 project?

That was one of my reasons too, and I must admit it has made me take the camera to many different places which I wouldn't normally have gone, and taken shots which I usually would be sat there saying 'I wish I had my camera'.

That's exactly it. I think I've been out maybe once in the last 8 months without camera/lens/flash at least on me. You just get in the habit of it. I also think that if you look for inspiration, you come across it a lot less regularly.

I would agree and disagree with Robert, as well. A 52 is great if you can't focus at least half an hour a day to taking a photo, but I bet people doing 52s would still put up Sunday night, 11pm shots - that's just the nature of anything you feel obliged to do! Mine just became a part of my life. Every little thing became potentially interesting (to me, anyway - don't think you can take a photograph you'll appreciate unless you're interested in it in some way). I kinda wish I hadn't labelled mine a 365 really, as it put a definite end to it, and I don't use my camera nearly as much anymore. I keep meaning to start just taking a photo a day, indefinitely, but I can't get back into the rhythm of it.

I'm defiantely tempted by doing a 52 - will be good to force me to take more pics but i am now getting into the habit of having my camera with me everywhere, problem is my days are so damn repetitive and nothing different/interesting happens between them that would make up 5/6 days of my week :(

It's getting ever so closer. I thought i'd cancel the 365 and do a 52 but still planning to go ahead with the 365!

Anyone else deciding to do one?

think a 52 would be easier from my point of view so might try that one for next year :) Although a lot of things may be of football :p

EDIT :

A 12 might be better though

I've tried before and failed but I do want to give it another go. I'm thinking of trying to do the whole thing using a compact film camera, as half of the problem I found was that I found I didn't have a decent camera on me most of the time. Using film would be 24 (or 36 of whatever) updates at once and then nothing, but it could be interesting.
