Has making a pass at a woman just become illegal?

It’s about time it went. Wolf whistling at underage teenagers is just creepy as ****. It’s not much better directed at adults.
Who mentioned underage teenagers? Bit weird that you thought of that specifically - is that the first thing that came to your mind when you thought of wolf whistling?

I find whistling, of any sort, annoying but criminalising an annoying sound seems absurd but perhaps I've missed the point. Leering next?

Because I work with children and the number of them that it happens to shocked me. They don’t want it and anyone who does it can **** right off.

That's going to kill the game "Tell her".

Serious comment - Whilst I agree with the idea in principle, I feel like this will be abused. I hope I am wrong.

I think we're beginning to see the law swing past the point of reasonable efforts to address a real problem to unreasonable. I can well imagine there will be a number of edge cases where this law is used to unnecessarily crush someone.

The younger generations are stuffed.

If you are worried or concerned about this maybe you need to check if you are a creep, if you are unsure or you are, seek medical advice.
Is the thread from this morning still here of the guy that records himself approaching women on the street?

It's amazing these people don't realise they're creeps....but they probably get their life advice from YouTube.

I got into trouble once for sending a load of emails to this girl I was obsessed with at her work. She got a restraining order on me but I couldn’t stop. Ended up in prison on remand for a couple of days before it went to the high court.

Whilst in prison I saw a psychiatrist who recognized I was suffering from a mental illness and he testified on my behalf in court. It was a civil case anyway not a criminal one, that’s when I first realized I had a mental health problem.
